"Almost, but not quite"
What I like:
Windows Messenger, E-mail, Skype, Facebook Integration, the list goes on
What I don't like:
Camera and Media player should just be ignored, phone is slow and 3 should be shot
Review:
I used to use my k800i regularly. It was a very nice phone, and did everything i wanted it to, but Idecided I wanted a new phone, something that had better on-line capabilities... something like the INQ1
First impressions, the packaging is awesome, and the lack of a manual isn't a big deal because everything is very simple to use. Turned on phone excitedly... Waited... Waited some more... And some more. This phone is slow at everything it does, i regularly have to let it catch up with me whilst I'm typing (and I don't have the fastest thumbs in the world). The camera is abysmal as well, it takes ages to take a shot, quality is shoddy, no flash etc. The media player is yet another thing that is useless. Browsing files takes ages, and the interface is diabolical.
However, I bought this thing as a PHONE. I have my walkman and my canon for their uses, and the price of all these things put together gives me a great set of gadgets for everything I need. As a 'Facebook' phone, it's ace, though misleading. I wouldn't browse facebook on this phone, but posting updates is easy. My feed list doesn't update properly, so I use a different facebook app to the one included, but I don't mind.
Overall, this is exactly what it seems to be, the cheapest possible way to get a phone that you can use for social networking easily. Download the Snaptu app and it's amazing, unbeatable for it's price I'd say. It's very nice to use and lovable in my opinion, definitely worth the money I spent on it.
As soon as someone finds out how to get these things off 3, I'll start suggesting it to everyone I know. If you live in rural areas, it's a no go, though it does have better reception that most other 3 phones I've seen around my area.
Basically, if you live in a rural area and want a phone to do everything for you, don't get this. If you like a quirky phone and live in a city, go for it :D
