Review:
Having received this phone under the O2 Branded Stellar, otherwise known as HTC TytnII or HTC Kaiser, or Tilt, I was looking forward to getting this badboy!
I previously had the O2 Orbit, with lacked a full pull-out ‘qwerty’ keyboard, and it was super to type at near full speed on the fabulous, well designed keyboard. As far as connections goes, it has it all, including GPRS, HSDPA, WIFI, and Bluetooth 2.0. With a 400mhz processor, this device is capable of running Skype, and a wide range of multimedia software with ease. Having downloaded Call of Duty 2 (legally!), with has be specially ported for the Kaiser, it was gimmicky, but uber cool nonetheless.
My disappointments? The whole device, while brushed aluminium, is pretty bulky, and the more than capable touch screen, can’t hold its ground compared to the super sexy Iphone. The 2.0 MP autofocus camera is well placed, with a rather cool OCR program bundled with the OS. And, as most people may know, that major kick to the nuts, comes with the buggy, slow and bloated Windows Mobile 6, which to Bill’s credit, is well capable, it need a pretty hefty update before being actually useful
