"Almost, but not quite"
What I like:
The phone is everything I want
What I don't like:
UIQ 3.0 control system is clunky
Review:
This phone, on the surface, would appear to have everything, yet it often does a good job of disguising this fact. The control system is clunky, interchanging between the various methods of input - keyboard, jog-wheel, and touchscreen - seemingly at random; while the keyboard has been criticised for its peculiar rocker arrangement, though, it works quite well given some practice (and a lot of patience!) Most infuriating, though, is the lack of VPN software, which makes the WiFi almost unusable in a business sense, while the iSync client Sony has made entirely refuses to act. Compared to the S60 phone I switched from, this has much more tech, but its implementation is far worse, and third-party software more difficult to find. At this point, I think I can tolerate it for the remainder of my contract, but I wish I'd bought either another Nokia phone, or - and I especially feel this after the SDK announcement - the iPhone
