"I want to like it, but I don't"
What I like:
Good display, fairly easy to navigate menus
What I don't like:
Camera is poor. Weight balance when in use
Review:
This phone is not bad but it just isn't that good either. It boasts a 5MP camera. I don't think it's too crash hot as any pictures I've taken look fuzzy, and are no better in quality compared to my Sony Ericsson W810i which this replaced (although I'm sending the Samsung back). I mentioned weight balance in use - when you slide the phone open, it becomes very top heavy (all the screen and camera gubbins are obviously housed in the top sliding section) which makes it cumbersome for texting. Voicecall clarity is fine but again not as good as my W810i and the relatively sharp edges that are exposed when the phone is open make it slightly uncomfortable to hold. The phone promises much in terms of features but in my opinion fails to deliver.

Nokia N85: Yeah, it's basically the N79
Not content with launching just the N79, Nokia has unveiled its other new N-series handset -- the N85. The only issue? It's pretty much the same as the N79

The 810 looks reasonably stylish, but it doesn't have the features to make it an outstanding budget phone
