"Just shoot me now"
What I like:
3.5mm headphone socket, Not bad quality speakers
What I don't like:
Poor build quality, awful battery life, expensive, customer service, crashing software, etc etc etc
Review:
The features on one hand have potential to be very good, and aside from very regular crashes and a fair deal of slowness in some areas the software isnt too bad, however the build quality is awful, truly awful, it just feels cheap and everything is put together badly, the keys on mine broke very quickly, as did the battery cover and more. The keypad too feels very cheap and is also uncomfortable to use. Another bad thing? the battery life is atrocious. The at nav application never worked eitehr, even after I took it to a mobile phone shop in an attempt to fix it after the Nokia custometr serivce failed me. I use my phone quite a lot for music etc, and the battery rarely lasts me a whole day.
Even the 3.5mm headphone socket, 2 way slider mechanism and good quality speakers couldnt save it, for the music software is nowhere near as good as on sony erricson phones (even non-walkmans). I also find the camera to be overrated on the nokia, and again sony erricson are far better for this.
Added to this actually, the accessories that came with the phone never worked, and the Nokia customer service was extremely poor in dealing with anything at all.
I sit here typing this with my broken-for-the-fifth-time N95 in the corner of my eye, and warn you that in my opinion it is the worst phone I have ever owned, and I will not be buying another Nokia in future. My advice? DONT BUY THIS PHONE. consider maybe an iphone, not as good on paper in the camera department, but far more reliable and better built etc.
