Typical price: £70
What is it: Budget slider phone with HSDPA
What we think: Good features for an easy-to-use, cheap pay-as-you-go phone, but you only get what you pay for

We like:
Speedy HSDPA; decent 3.2-megapixel camera; straightforward user interface; reasonably good looks; plug-and-play sync software
We don't like:
No camera flash; flimsy plastic casing; occasionally crashes
You might also need:
A microSD memory card would be very useful for expanding the paltry 25MB on-board memory
