Typical price: £145
What is it: Slim and glossy slider handset
What we think: Its battery life and lack of 3G support aren't ideal but it's a great looking phone with some impressive features

We like:
Attractive design; onboard document viewer; good screen
We don't like:
Poor battery life; no 3G
CNET UK judgement:
The E840 is a great looking handset that has some nice features such as the onboard document viewer and nifty music player. However, it blots its copy book by having below par battery life and no support for 3G
