What is it: Walkman slider phone with 3G connectivity and a 2-megapixel camera
What we think: The music-centric interface works very well and music sounds great, but it isn't as ergonomic as some of the competing slider phones

We like:
Large colour screen; 3G connectivity; stereo Bluetooth; expandable Memory Stick Duo Pro slot with 1GB included; 3.5mm adapter; variety of fun and useful pre-installed applications
We don't like:
Lack of autofocus and xenon flash on the camera; inability to end calls by sliding the phone shut; lack of space at the top row of keys on the keypad
You might also need:
Stereo Bluetooth headset
CNET.co.uk judgement:
The W850i Walkman phone brings together some of the best features from Sony Ericsson's vast portfolio of great phones. It has the same large, colour screen as the K800i and 3G connectivity, and most importantly, music sounds great. There are some small problems with the slider design, though
