What is it: Large 3G flip phone
What we think: The N71 is not very pretty or very small, but it packs in some high-quality features and is especially good for video calling

We like:
Easy camera handling once you get it running; loud and good-quality music playback; large, high-quality screen; desk-based handsfree video calling; FM radio
We don't like:
Chunky design; not enough built-in memory; can't use camera with flip closed
CNET UK judgement:

Nokia N71 History
18 Aug 2006 in Digital Living
Nokia doesn't often make clamshells, preferring the Scandinavian simplicity of the candybar. The fold-it-and-stow-it N71 offers a big screen and a 2-megapixel camera -- but would it be better without the hinge?
