What is it: Music phone with rotating bottom section that twists between number keys and music controls
What we think: Good sound output and great battery life, but we aren't convinced by its distinguishing feature, the novel twist mechanism

We like:
Great battery life; good music playback; brimming with software; two-piece headset for using your own headphones
We don't like:
Not enough onboard memory; microSD flash memory cards are too fiddly to use; twister feels unnecessary; camera lacks flash
You might also need:
High quality headphones, microSD cards
CNET UK judgement:
The Nokia 3250 has some very strong features, but we found its most significant design element -- the twist mechanism -- to be more irritating than intuitive. We accept that you may love the system, though, so the watchword for this handset is try before you buy

Nokia's 3250 has a twist in its tail. Rotate the bottom section through 90 degrees to bring the camera to the front, or spin it 180 degrees to convert the phone into an MP3 player. It's a novel solution, but is it a necessary one?
