What is it: LG's answer to Motorola's RAZR, with 3G thrown in
What we think: Pink seems to be quite the 'in' colour at the moment, and the U880 combines it with a rather nice pearly white. It's also available in silver and black

We like:
Small and light for a 3G handset; good on-device controls; easy music playback using the front screen; numberpad and keys are tactile
We don't like:
Camera is below par and has no flash; short on internal memory; feels a bit plasticy in the hand
You might also need:
Bluetooth headset, microSD (TransFlash) cards
CNET UK judgement:
The U880 has been called LG's answer to Motorola's RAZR, but the U880's plasticy feel means that, despite its thin and light nature, the comparison doesn't really stand up. Standing alone, the U880 is nicely featured, small and light, and, we have to admit, fairly funky. If the pink were any other colour, we'd be happier
