Typical price: £450
What is it: White Walkman handset with 2-megapixel camera and 3G
What we think: The W900i is large in size, but it has adequate built-in memory and good music output through the headset

We like:
Good music player; easy to use and respectable camera; acceptable amount of internal memory; almost all functions accessible without opening the handset
We don't like:
Over-sized, especially when open; single mono speaker on hardware; feature-limited FM radio on external headphone cable rather than built in to the handset
You might also need:
Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo cards
CNET UK judgement:
The W900i ups the ante over its predecessors by adding more internal memory and 3G capability, but we don't like its vastness when opened out to full height, the annoying controller for the FM radio or the relatively poor output from the single speaker. This large phone certainly has room for stereo speakers
