What is it: A pocket-friendly, low-cost 3G phone
What we think: A 3G phone for the budget-conscious who don’t mind poor quality video calls, minimal memory and no Bluetooth

We like:
Low cost; small in size; good 3G browsing
We don't like:
No Bluetooth; short on memory; protruding antenna; poor camera means poor video calling
You might also need:
USB cable and synchronisation software for sharing data with a PC
CNET UK judgement:
The NEC 338 is a low-cost 3G phone with a minimal range of features. It suffers from a poor camera for video calling, no Bluetooth, lack of on-board memory and no memory expansion options. 3G browsing is good, though
