Comment: This phone is rubbish it freezes all the time, Messages take forever to send & receive.
You have to take the battery out EVERY DAY and sometimes 3-4 times a day if you are lucky.
The camera is pants point and click while that is going on go read a book because the camera is so slow your subject has upped and gone.
It needs charging every single day the touch screen gets so messy with finger prints you can't see the face. And you find yourself rubbing the screen constantly, If its bright/sunny forget it... You will not be able to see anything even hiding under your jacket.
The worst problem is OVERHEATING the phone gets SO HOT you drop it. I thought it was going to burst into flames.
I have sent this phone back to Virgin mobile TWICE in only eight months of having it.
DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!!!!!!!! :@
Bad: Doesn't work properly, only when it wants to.....
Comment: When I received this phone, I thought it was great, but as time went by, things got bad....really bad! Didn't receive text messages, no signal at all, calls 4 people at once, just pure havoc! Never said this before, but, I must say this is the worst phone I have ever had! Wouldn't recommend at all!
Good: sometimes it works, I got it as a free "upgrade"
Bad: on the whole, it doesn't work
Comment: The phone doesn't recieve some text messages, I get about 30% of my messages. Some calls are missed, it just doesn't pick them up. When you make a call, the phone overheats and actually hurts your ear. Sometimes the phone just freezes, and you have to take the battery out to reboot it. It is really slow on the internet, and often won't pick up a signal, when the person next to you has a wireless connection. The battery is really poor, even if you've not made a call that day, it will need charging by 10pm, it you use it, then it will need charging much earlier. Don't waste your time and money, or risk missed important calls and messages. Do not buy it if you will need to rely on a phone for your business!!
Bad: The phone freezes daily You can not end calls as the phone has frozen .The screen freezes daily by far the worse phone i have ever owned
Comment: From bLACKERRY to ZTE i was not over impressed with the first and was sold the ZTE by Phones 4 u i was actually wanting an I phone the phone freezes misses calls and texts .It can not even get photo messsages or send them two year contact actually thinking of buying a seperat ephone as it really is that bad
Good: Sharp colourful screen
Bad: Everything else
Comment: The ZTE Grand X is a terrible phone! I had it for 2 months and I found that I was having to reboot it every day, it only received text messages when it felt like it (I missed an important appointment because of this!) and often froze when making calls, You could have a conversation but when you wanted to hang up the screen was frozen with the call still connected. The only option was to pull the battery. The earpiece would crackle whenever the other person spoke. Also the phone got very warm when it was on charge. I read on a forum that neither the manufacturer or the mobile phone provider will accept that the phone has all these faults despite many complaints to the contrary and are only prepared to offer a repair or identical replacement. I have now traded in this phone and put the money towards a more well known brand. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Bad: Unreliable, faulty launcher.
Comment: Don't waste your money on this phone, I've only had it for 6 months, and I'm already on my 4th replacement, with everything going wrong with it, from overheating, to faulty launchers, and constant crashing forcing the removal of the battery to continue. Basically, there was no way this phone was ready for release, and should have spent far longer in ZTE's Research and Development Labs....
Bad: its a zte
Comment: whats with the harp in the background!?
Comment: Rubbery, unresponsive screen? :-/
Looks like your reviewer forgot to take off the protective plastic layer always present on any new device display...
Are you sure this is not the case?
Comment: i want to know the price ov it and were to buy it
Comment: Would love to move to a dual-core phone and if the price is right this may be it. Hopefully like other ZTE phones there'll be a nice choice of custom Roms to make the most out of the hardware & fingers crossed the Camera will at least be passable.
