Toshiba TG01 review

In this review

The video did a solid job of capturing our shenanigans. Although slightly jaggy and compressed, it looked good on the TG01's big screen. There's plenty of room to store your clips too, thanks to a microSD memory card slot that supports capacities of up to 32GB. The TG01 comes with an 8GB card.

Conclusion
Apple's iPhone became the current king of touchscreen phones not by having the most features but by being a pleasure to use. Even a very speedy processor can't save the TG01 from the fact that Windows Mobile is a nightmare on a touchscreen phone. We appreciate the TG01's wide range of Windows features, but we wish Toshiba had taken a punt on Android instead.

If your colleagues in the IT department insist you get a Windows Mobile device, and you decide not to just punch them in the guts and quit, the TG01 is sure to elicit a few oohs and aahs, thanks to its slim design and epic screen. Otherwise, like a fit but dumb date, its drawbacks far outweigh its looks.

Good: The Microsoft Office Feature

Bad: It crashes because of Windows installment, has a low battery and memory cards still leave a low memory?!

Comment: I have had this phone for an average time period and i have to say it is the WORST phone i have EVER had. The Windows is great yes and its upgrade-able to 2011 because i have upgraded it to that but its battery life is appalling, honestly it doesn't last 6 hours for me, and when i charge it i have problems turning it on and in the end it manages to turn on with no battery. Also you can only have the background shown on the picture as any others you choose cause significant battery loss. This phone is not efficient in any way but when it does work it is very technical and is a wondrous piece of tech, it's just a shame it can't be like that the whole of the time, then it would be a model phone. Also the camera quality is terrible at times but brilliant at others although the slightest movements will blur your image, amazingly the action shots that it actually has a very good, it takes them very well and they look great but its not very good at stills (and yes i have got my camera settings right) overall, its a brilliant phone WHEN IT WILL TURN ON!!!!
There's my little opinion for you, take it into consideration if you are buying this!
Hope it helps x
