Comment: i think the reviewer forgot to take the plastic film off the lens when using the camera ive had a play about with it in the shop the camera was very good and the screen is very good more natural than my sgs4 and one thing not mentioned thge sound quality sounds very good though headphones cant see any problems with the viewing angles i,m definately tempted into trading in my s4 c/mon reviewer would sony really make a camera as bad as you say
Good: Build Quality
Comment: this review is bad, never get 10 hours of screen time in my galaxy s4
Bad: Sony tends to forget its phones after a little while(ex. Xperia S and T) so after CES 2014 this phone will mean nothing to them! As a result...its users won't get many software updates
Comment: Note to the reviewer: Galaxy S4 has a plastic cover, no FM Radio, really heavy Android customization, 13MP Camera instead of a 20.7MP one with Exmor RS and Sony G Lens and a Snapdragon 600 instead of a Snapdragon 800 and yet it came out on launch at a price of 629 pounds(SIM-Free). So I wouldn't say that Xperia Z1 is pricey for its impressive spec sheet(it actually costs fewer than the Galaxy S4 on its launch). You just want to find silly excuses in order to promote the S4!
Good: Best smart phone ever
Comment: Bad review he likes his s4
Bad: The reviewer here on Cnet.
Comment: What a dull review !!!
The camera isn't impressive ?
Are you kidding ?
I think the reviewer owns a Galaxy S4 so he is praising it here.
Good: Great specs
Bad: It it to big
Comment: I can't believe that the reviewer concluded that: 'Camera doesn't particularly impress' and 'Disappointing battery life' How can you write a professional review on a trade show in Berlin by testing the phone for a couples of minutes. How can you be sure about the battery life if you haven't try the phone for at least a wekk? What about the image quality in the outdoors?
I'm very disappointed about this review
Comment: probably the most worst review i had read so far in Cnet.
Comment: Not sure why the reviewer is getting flamed here, the Z1 is just being compared to arguably the best Android handset currently available so it should be compared. And the image quality is put down as a possible software issue, not just a shoddy camera. For me it's a fair review which I'll take on board before I get one for myself.
One thing I will wholeheartedly disagree with however is the insinuation that any updates will be a long time coming?! Where does this come from?! As someone who owns the Tablet Z I couldn't be happier with the speed at which it was updated to 4.2.2... Perhaps the reviewer needs to actually check out the support Sony provides before casting a negative scenario....
Comment: If compared to the new 5s, which it really shouldn't be as Z1 is far superior. The only thing that would be great is the fingerprint scanner. However the iPhone could use the waterproof, dustproof, more than just 8mp camera, bigger battery, and higher resolution screen. Obviously the Z1 is a winner here. As for the reviewer, he must be on crack to say that a 20.7mp camera is poor. Battery life is bad too? Doesn't seem like a legit review. But then again I don't have the phone yet so I can't exactly say that the reviewer is wrong, but it doesn't make sense how he could be right with these specs.
Comment: With the greatest respect to the reviewer, you've taken 3 whole pictures with the thing, 1 of which you didn't like (taken without any attempt to adjust the settings to the environment), and you trash the entire camera as rubbish. Sorry, that's just poor, poor journalism and smacks of either laziness or bias. I suspect a bit of both.
If you don't have the nouse to work a phone camera properly then you shouldn't be working for a tech review website, sorry.
