Good: Looks brilliant
Bad: Very poor product support from Sony recently
Comment: Was all set to shell out on one of these but my Bravia developed a fault 1 month out of warranty and Sony won't even consider covering repairs for the fault. Turns out there are thousands of unhappy Sony Bravia customers (try searching 'Bravia fault').
Been a fan of Sony for years (since the original walkmans) and have a lot of their gear (laptop, dvd, mp3 etc) so very surprised and disappointed at their attitude. It's a shame because up until this point I have been very brand loyal - something companies strive for.
Needless to say, I won't be buying any more of their products including their mobile phones.
Good: too good to hav 1
Bad: price :(
Comment: sure get 1!!!!!!!!!!
Good: everything is gud in it
Comment: what is the release date
Good: It's so slim, the best camera, can fall into the water. Especially, it's excellence!
Bad: It has many buttons and we can see the button when stand the front of the phone. Others, I don't know yet.
Comment: The button white should change to black up to the color phone.
The thinnest is the best.
The icon should resize to bigger, should change the white color icon to better than these.
Good: big screen, full hd.
Bad: if headset is inner ear set ... it is ok
Comment: i want to know the price of the mobile.. in indian currency
Comment: A 5" screen is too big for some people surely? It is the water/dust-resistance that is the most exciting facet of the Xperia Z. Like many people who work outside or have active lifestyles (or who just fear dropping their phone in a puddle or in the sink) a smartphone that is robust and water/dust-resistance is essential for me. And 4G. Such high-end protected smartphones are very popular in Japan and Sony make a number of them, but they're almost unheard of in Britain.
A word of warning though! The newly released Xperia 'V' is freezing on everybody and over-heating, see link below. No fix from Sony yet and the numbers keep rising. Firmware updates have failed. That's a brand new phone, only just released virtually worldwide - though Britain was omitted, as it was with with the earlier water-resistant Xperia acro S in 2012 as well, leaving Brits with just the puny little 3.5" Xperia Go. I am told it could be because UK networks refuse to take on these phones. Very annoying!
Also worth baring in mind is the upcoming Samsung S4, also reportedly to get a 5" screen but with a faster 2GHz processor! This S4 might have a toughened screen but I doubt it will have water/dust resistance. Here is a link:
I applaud Sony for pushing ahead with protected high-end smartphones only they should push harder for UK networks to take more of them. It could win them a greater market share given that competitors don't do them. I will have to wait and see how the Xperia Z turns out once it has been released though as I am concerned by those reports of the new Xperia V malfunctioning for a lot of people. A new phone should not immediately have technical problems. Oh and one other thing: better that Sony and other manufacturers release fewer models that are trouble-free and then keep them updated throughout peoples' 2-year contracts than dumping the updates after a year.
Good: All the specs are badass, it's beautiful and its water resistant!
Bad: Could use more built in memory, but 16GB is not bad and you can expand it.
Comment: Already have mine on pre-order with my carrier, thankfully it will cost me a lot less than the retail price 8-)
Good: It's a Sony
Bad: Don't know yet......
Comment: Has to be better value for money than I-phones that are 3x over-priced and Samsungs that fall apart on minimal contact. The Japs are Back !!
Good: Beautiful looking phone
Comment: A very attractive looking phone, joining the list of high end android phones in losing the physical buttons. Would get 5 stars but it doesn't run vanilla android!
Good: Camera, screen, media, jellybean, powerful, 2gb ram, micro sd, design
Bad: only 16 built in, will be pricey
Comment: Can't wait to be able to get this phone
