Bad: Overheats very often
Comment: It worked fine for the first couple of months, but now (after only 11 months) it freezes very easily, stops typing, music stops working, doesn't charge, the camera is poor and I have had to send it back once to get a new camera fitted and lots of other thing. My opinion? It's good for a temporary phone, but I wouldn't buy this if you want a long term phone as a lot of apps either don't load or crash.
Good: Great for calls, emails and social media.
Bad: Difficult to use on full websites, can crash a lot and overheat.
Comment: This phone is great for light usage of music and social media. Mine overheats a lot and crashes. The camera is simple and great for simple shots. Mine lasts about 12 hours on heavy use and 18 on low to moderate use. Great if you want a phone that will sit and lay down but not beg and jump.
Good: Very little, apart from the price as its fairly cheap for a phone
Bad: Lots, casing scratches easily, chips occur with very little effort of your own, barely run apps.
Comment: If your looking for a temporary phone then the xperia u is for you. It all come down to you get what you pay for, after 4 months of having the phone chips occurred on the side of the screen even when I took super care of the phone, games would crash, phone would crash daily and if you have fat fingers then texting is a dier as the keypad doesnt change to landscape. If I could turn back time I would of rather spent an extra 50£ and know I'm getting a phone that is reliable and long lasting. Buying the phone will soon turn around and bit you in the ass.
Bad: 1 GB RAM would have made it invincible
Comment: Its Totally Awesome Phone. Better than some of its expensive competitors. Video Quality is breath taking. SONY is the BEST.
Good: Its Light
Bad: No Sd card slot
Comment: Its a best android phone available in cheap rate.
Bad: Little size
Comment: Recommended in the low range price!
Good: Good Display
Bad: Battry life
Comment: I like this mobile it looks very nice.
Good: looks, features
Bad: slow at times, reboots itself
Comment: This is a great phone and looks good, but at times it is very sluggish and unresponsive. The only way to get it working again is to take the battery out as it won't switch off using the side button. It is so easy these days to use so many apps. The lack of menory stops this from happening and means that in the main its a phone not a mobile computer or games console
Good: Dual core 1Ghz processor. Decent battery life. Small and easy to use one handed. Best value for money in its price range.
Bad: Performance slows down after official 4.0 update. Camera button requires too much energy to activate. No 4.1 update. A lot of finger grease so you'll need to constantly wipe your screen.
Comment: The Sony Xperia U is probably one of the best phones in terms of value for money in the mid range android phones of today.
This phone is essentially a smaller and less powerful version of the Xperia S but surprisingly it is still able to hold it's own against some of the more expensive smartphones due to it's Dual core 1Ghz processor which makes the phone just as responsive providing that you don't overload it with a lot of background apps of course.
Because of the size of the phone handling it with one hand is effective and weight isn't an issue here, as the Xperia U isn't too heavy that it requires a whole lot of effort just to carry it but it also isn't too light so that you can't tell if it's in your pocket or not.
However the biggest downfall in this device is the software, it comes out with android 2.3 straight out of the box and when you do update it officially the performance slows down significantly, Sony has also stated that this phone won't be getting the 4.1 update as it apparently can't 'handle it'. Why Sony would release a 2012 phone that apparently can't handle 2012 software I don't know, looks like I'll be rooting and flashing this in the meantime.
Comment: I like it
