Good: looks, features
Bad: slow at times, reboots itself
Comment: This is a great phone and looks good, but at times it is very sluggish and unresponsive. The only way to get it working again is to take the battery out as it won't switch off using the side button. It is so easy these days to use so many apps. The lack of menory stops this from happening and means that in the main its a phone not a mobile computer or games console

Good: Dual core 1Ghz processor. Decent battery life. Small and easy to use one handed. Best value for money in its price range.
Bad: Performance slows down after official 4.0 update. Camera button requires too much energy to activate. No 4.1 update. A lot of finger grease so you'll need to constantly wipe your screen.
Comment: The Sony Xperia U is probably one of the best phones in terms of value for money in the mid range android phones of today.
This phone is essentially a smaller and less powerful version of the Xperia S but surprisingly it is still able to hold it's own against some of the more expensive smartphones due to it's Dual core 1Ghz processor which makes the phone just as responsive providing that you don't overload it with a lot of background apps of course.
Because of the size of the phone handling it with one hand is effective and weight isn't an issue here, as the Xperia U isn't too heavy that it requires a whole lot of effort just to carry it but it also isn't too light so that you can't tell if it's in your pocket or not.
However the biggest downfall in this device is the software, it comes out with android 2.3 straight out of the box and when you do update it officially the performance slows down significantly, Sony has also stated that this phone won't be getting the 4.1 update as it apparently can't 'handle it'. Why Sony would release a 2012 phone that apparently can't handle 2012 software I don't know, looks like I'll be rooting and flashing this in the meantime.

Good: cheap, powerful, handy, perfect for everyday use
Bad: screen width is slightly disturbing,6 gb storage would be best for me,but I'm fine with 4 GB
Comment: hey, everyone can't afford an iphone or a galaxy s3 and truly saying there isn't any need to,so if u looking for a smartphone which is powerful enough for your everyday usage like calling, music, internet, msging, gaming and won't make a hole to your pocket(just like me)then you should defenitely go for this sdevice which will make u happy for everyday smartphone using experience.just my advice is that if huge storage u need then it's not a very good phn for u,but if u dn't care about storage, then go buy it and must upgrade it to ICS as soon as u bought it,coz ICS will give u more advanced features over gingerbread like extended stanby time for battery(I've found it very useful),walkman and some apps preinstalled with dis update...thanks .
