Good: Nice camera, looks cool, I thought it was pretty easy to type on
Bad: Extremely faulty, problems hanging up, unreliable alarm, you can't depend on the flash working, freezes
Comment: Honestly this phone has given me problems for two years. I've never neglected it, but it just freezes, and refuses to turn on. During my 2 year contract I've had it repaired about 10 times, eventually it just decided to turn off permanently. When I first got it I thought it was great, I do like the camera, it does look cool and I quite liked the home screen. But it was just so faulty, I had constant problems with it. And silly little things like the phone not hanging up and the alarm not going off was so annoying! personally I would not recommend.

Good: small, 5mp camera, 3.5mm jack, touch screen
Bad: android 1.6, no virtual qwerty keyboard
Comment: i have owned several android phones now and it is up there with the other handsets i have owned. when i purchased the phone the first thing i did was upgrade to android 2.1 and now i am really happy with it. the first android phone i owned was the wildfire and this seems to perform just as well as that did. the only disappointing thing with the phone is the lack of a virtual qwerty keyboard but then it is only a small phone, just takes some getting used to as i had got used to a qwerty keyboard.
i personally like the small size of it as it is something different but i will say it won't be for everyone as i'm sure some people will have problems navigating it with their thumbs.
if though you are looking for a small android phone that's abit different from the others then this would be a good choice, just make sure you upgrade the android to 2.1!!!!

Good: 5mp camera, looks cute
Bad: battery life, unstable, slow, no support for flash EVER!!!,little memory, poor phone,
Comment: right, where to start, ive owned this phone for about 6 months now,and i wish i had never brought it, all ive had is trouble, sure the phone packs a massive 5mp camera, and it looks cute, but it just does'nt compare to this phones faults.
for a start, the battery will only last 2 days if not used regulary, and around 5 hours if your using its smartphone functions.
making a phone call is a tricky task, and hanging up is even harder.
the phone also comes with only 60 mb of memory to store apps on, once you drop below 20mb remaing you will get a warning and the phone will stop recieving all incoming txt messages which i thought was disguisting.
the alarm only works when it wants to, thus leaving me late for work, which i was not happy with.
if you change your message tone, when you plug into a pc the phone will crash(you cannot change it or you can but not hook it up to a pc, your choice).
the phone will run quite well for a few weeks until its low memory and bottom end processor cant handle it anymore and leaves you with a very poor experience.
phone startup takes a while and even when booted up it will be extremely slow until around 5mins of use then it will speed up (a bit).
one thing that also suprised me was that it has no walkman player, no walkman earphones, nothing.
it.
plz do not waste your money buying this phone, i wish i would have never sold my previous phone (which only cost me £30 brand new and was much better than this).
the only thing this phone has going for it is its 5mp camera, which is one of the best ive seen to be honest, but it just isnt enought, the x10 mini just doesn't function as a phone, and is one of the worst phones i have owned.if your after reliability please dont buy.this could have been such a great phone but unfortunately sony ericsson failed big time. my rating 3/10

Good: Small form factor. With 2.1 Update very stable and smooth.
Bad: Tiny screen is ok for most uses, but limited app availability and no Adobe Flash.
Comment: Decent little phone with good battery life, good media playback and reliable connection. Not worth using SE apps for Facebook, Twitter etc but for the money (£110 @ Carphone Warehouse) a little bargain.

Good: Very small so fits in my pocket well.
Bad: WiFi conncection can sometimes be hit and miss.
Comment: I've had this phone since September 2010.
My choice was narrowed down to the HTC mini and the x10 mini and I chose this because of it's price and android o/s.
Making calls, it's primary use after all, is fine with plenty of volume and clarity good. Though happy with the standard dialer I have downloaded an app which I use in preference as you can type in the name or any part of the number and it starts to come up with suggestions commencing with the ones most recently rung. This and quick dial buttons make calling easy without having to look up the number in the phones phone book.
The lack of a qwerty key board is no hindrance as the predictive text works well except for a few times when you have to watch the alternatives suggested to avoid putting, for example, of instead of me or vice versa. I imagine that a qwerty key board on the touch screen would be practically unusable due to it's size.
The camera would be better with zoom as would the video but this is a phone not a camera isn't it? As another reviewer said there are zoom apps available but in the end they are only electronic and so the resultant pictures are never going to be that great. However it is incredibly useful for recording things at work, like when I'm taking a machine to bits and want to take a photo to remind myself where to put all the bits when I'm trying to reassemble it.
Viewing web pages is fine as you can zoom in quite easily and I suggest that if you buy a phone for it's size, as I did, you have to expect the limitations that are a natural result of the small size.
Battery life, considering how small it must be, is fine. Yes at the end of the day and if I've made a lot of calls, wasted too much time playing solitaire, and browsing the net it will give up the ghost but I don's suppose it's unique in this regard. I always charge my phone, and always have done, every night as the last thing I want to do is end up with a flat phone miles from anywhere. Having said that I do have a car charger which I can use if necessary.
Durability seems to be fine so far and it's survived being dropped quite a few times.
Should you buy one? Well I'd say yes if you want a really small and useful phone and won't then complain about the limitations of the screen size. It doesn't claim to be a Tardis. But if you want a large flashy number don't choose this one ---- you won't be good enough for it!

Good: 5mp camera is good, and mine came with a 2gb memory card...
Bad: Touch screen freezes DO NOT BUY IT! , READ ON...
Comment: This is the most frustrating phone I have ever owned;
- sometimes after it has been on for a long time, the screen will not respond to any number of presses, and to resolve the problem you have to turn it off, however when the screen comes up saying "power off", YOU CANT PRESS IT, so you HAVE TO take the battery out and restart it that way.
- at one point I had about 4 texts in the outbox, which i assumed had sent, then they all sent at once, and i was only made aware of this by bemused replies from my mates saying "what are you talking about..." etc.
- if you play angry birds and then exit it to send a text/ answer a call, when you go back to angry birds, IT FREEZES
- In call volume for hand held is very quiet
- the screen cover provided gets scratched easily
PLEASE NOTE, I have had this phone less than a month and I am not going to get another.
I bought it after having only sony ericson's in the past, which i could not fault for their construction and reliability, but this is TERRIBLE...
DO NOT BUT IT, WHATEVER YOU DO, all of the above make it highly frustrating to use.

Good: The size and the smoothness of touch screen response
Bad: No camera zoom
Comment: Other reviewers have complained about the size of the phone - I think this is one of its best assets - other smart phones are just too big. I've had no problems with freezing or bluetooth/wireless connections. It's smooth and sensitive to use. It would be the perfect phone if it had a camera zoom - but you can over come this by downloading the right app.
