Good: Beautiful design, music and the size
Bad: No Flash
Comment: I simply love this phone, its so beautifully designed. Everytime I use it I get envious looks. I had a Walkman phone before which was great, but this is really just gorgeous. Its slim, fits anywhere, and everytime I use it my friends can't get over how cool it is. I already have more than 700 songs on my phone, and still have room for more. The sound is just perfect too. I just love it! The buttons are compact and you grow to like it. The screen gives a great picture and the camera is great for the size of the phone, even though it does not have a flash. I guess now I don't need my Ipod nano - expect to see it on eBay soon...

Good: Undeniably it is a gorgeous looking phone - I chose the Matte Silver and was bowled over by the sheer size and supposed capability built into something so light & slim
Bad: NO RADIO!!!
Comment: First impressions - WOW! Got it home, trawled through the manual after thinking it would be as easy a setup as my previous W800i - NO CHANCE!!
The music transfer took an age - over 25 minutes - the keys which I thought would be a cinch without false nails on were annoyingly small; the picture quality wasn't too impressive (EVEN with the plastic off!!) and to cap it all - THERE'S NO RADIO!!! That was one of the reasons why I chose it as in every spec I've read - apart from on this website it states there's an FM radio!!
Trying to remove the battery and Sim was equally painful - had to resort to needle-nosed pliers for the Sim and stronger nails for the battery. For those without the latter - I would steer clear of this 'phone!
Needless to say it's now in the box ready to be returned from whence it came!
Ultimately I am disappointed with the funtionality that I wanted on this 'phone - even though it looks GORGEOUS with really cool profiles!

Good: Slim design
Bad: Software bugs
Comment: I got the W880i with Orange, and it took me 4 days to realise this phone has some serious software issues. It's a general problem across the board with this model and not the unit I had in particular, or so Orange informed me.
Unfortunately the phone suffers from some serious mood swings regarding network coverage, and keeps jumping from full coverage to no coverage, whilst you're actually still. This is very strange, but more seriously, it keeps cutting you off.
Equally the phone does not seem to keep a record of any of the calls, so if you get a missed call a box comes up on the screen to let you know you have a missed call, and when you select to see who rang you, as if by magic, you have not received any calls.
This could be an Orange problem, and not a Sony Ericsson problem, I am unsure as to who messed the software up.
One final comment, the PC software is absolutely dire, and archaic.
Sadly, it looks great, but it's far from great.
Steer clear... for now at least. I returned the phone 4 days after receiving it.
