Good: Colour, ease of use, Bluetooth, Walkman music player.

Bad: No memory expansion, internet hotlink button can be pressed by accident.

Comment: My W550i has been a good buy, and still feels new after 2 years. I bought it on the strength of the Walkman player, colour, and innovative swivel case.
The joypad key can be completely customised four ways, to access user-determined features upon pressing up, down, left or right.
The camera was average at the time and doesn't quite cut it now, but is good to have as a backup, and takes (tiny) video clips too.
The phone has two 'gaming' keys just above the screen. Whilst i never took advantage of these, it would have been useful to be able to customise these too. In the end they have been sadly redundant, but then again i'm not much of a phone gamer!
This is probably the best phone i've owned, because after 2 years I struggle to find any bad poins without resorting to nitpicking. If pushed I could list a couple, so here they are:
If the swivel pad is inadvertently turned past a certain point it unlocks the keys, and leaves the internet key exposed should anything press against the phone. This only became a problem as the phone aged and the swivel mechanism became a little looser. It would also have been nice to be able to expand the memory to fit more music on. In the W550's infancy, Sony really pushed this as a music player, yet no memory slot meant I could only squeeze about 65 songs on at any one time.
Also, the supplied software for transferring music didn't get on with my PC, so instead I resorted to using an £8 Bluetooth dongle to send MP3s.
All in all a well-thought out and 'cool' phone, which is only dated by it's slightly chunky dimensions!

Good: Good for calls, music, and imageing

Bad: Freezes up too often - you get white screens far too much. A pure headache having to remove the battery all the time

Comment: Good phone when it works, but too much trouble to consider getting another one the same

Good: Walkman, radio, decent camera and video capture with 4x zoom

Bad: Chunkyness and no extra memory slot, but I cope pretty well

Comment: I got my w550i for 129.00 with call time added so brilliant

Good: Walkman feature and large memory capacity

Bad: The included headphones, but these are swappable with your own headphones

Comment: This phone is a great mobile phone with everything on it that you could wish for. I got it for my birthday and I did not want anything else because this phone's features kept me occupied for hours, especially the MP3 feature. Overall I would recommend this phone as it is a perfect phone for anyone who is looking for a phone with high specs

Good: Holds its signal like stink, menu system, covered keypad, excellent screen

Bad: Could be smaller

Comment: If my mother-in-law likes it, because she can see and understand it, anybody will

Good: Sound quality, functions, feel, user-friendliness

Bad: No memory card expandability

Comment: This phone is great! It feels really good, despite what the review says. I like the fact that the 3.5mm adaptor gives the headphones extra length. The user interface is extremely good, even my Mum can use it! No memory card is a letdown, but 256MB is a massive amount for a phone

Good: 3D capabilities, incorporated RSS feed reader, style (once you change the orange covers), solidity, MP3 player, multiple I/O

Bad: Slight pause in between songs which is particularly annoying on mixed-down compilations. Sometimes slows down on the 3D games.

Comment: Sony = Stylish + Solid, but it could be smaller and perhaps a little smoother in its operation.
