Good: Camera
Bad: Small buttons, nav buttons and touch faulty buttons
Comment: I got this phone after eagerly waiting for it's release and to upgrade my contract and w800i
I had it for 3 days and the camera is/was super. Then the touch buttons started to malfunction. Everytime I pressed the down nav button, it would activate the left touch button. Really irritating. Nothing can be done "on the go" with this phone. Sent it back for a new one as all other worthwhile phones require a pay in of R3000+(270 Euros).
Compared to my W800i it's a real dissapointment.

Good: camera is excellent, screen crystal clear
Bad: keypad buttons a little too small
Comment: This is a great mobile - If your last phone was a sonyericsson you will feel right at home as the navigation and menu of the phone have not really changed.
Using the camera is the closest I have come to a standard camera and the flash is great.
Mobile web surfing isnt the easiest due to the fiddly controls and smaller screen but its managable and google maps, you tube are all simple to use.
The only negative I have found has to be the small numerical keys, I have not had any problems with the touch screen keys and found these to work very well.

Good: Size, email client,
Bad: Fiddly and frustrating
Comment: My Vodafone K850i is flawed in various ways, and disappoints compared to the previous K800i.
The case in its 'piano black' finish looks filthy after a few minutes use - a perfect example of form over function. The small buttons are fiddly and the square 'joystick'is awkward to move and manoeuver around. The touch buttons are tricky too - the slow response of the handset meaning that you end up touching them twice and then going further than you meant to. Going 'back' is also an issue because Vodafone's 'live!' touch button means that you end up going in there ALL the time when you don't mean to.
The photos disappoint and I've yet to take one I'm happy with.
I hope to debrand the phone to get rid of the Vodafone modifications which really spoil it, and it might get another point or two then.

Good: Obviously the camera, the menu is straight foward unlike nokia n95, the battery life
Bad: The keypad, the menu button
Comment: Excellent phone, well recomended, also if this is a bit pricy (if you are buying it sim-free), go for the k550i. Its got 2mp camera and its a very good phone and u can pick one up for less than £70 at o2.

Good: Big, bright and clear screen, Great Camera and in the words of Apple... "it just works"
Bad: That Sony Ericsson still don't distribute Mac OSX Drivers, Battery life is only 2-3days at my normal use.
Comment: I've had this phone for a week now and I'm enjoying the fact that it not only "just works", does everything as I'd expect but it also does it well. I disagree with the CNET review re:the nav and buttons. Granted it took a little getting used to but what new phone doesn't, now I'm convinced it makes perfect sense. Call quality is also excellent. A great phone, a great camera and I managed to download some third party drivers for my Mac!
