Good: The design and the camera!
Bad: There is nothing i don't like about this phone!!
Comment: I fell in love with this phone the minute I saw it. I love the design and the fact that it looks a bit like a digital camera. For the past 3 years I haven't gone anywhere without this phone. The built in 3.2 mega-pixel camera has replaced my digital camera and has served its purpose well! I recommend this phone to anyone who loves taking photos and playing around with different photo options such as panorama or using frames etc. The video camera is also great however in comparison to the photo-quality not as great. Over the years I must admit that the video-quality has decreased but this is not so surprising as i have used it almost everyday.

Good: texting, camera, layout
Bad: the buttons and the faults
Comment: Having had a SE walkman phone and loving it. . . fantastic phone! when it came time to upgrade i was reluctant to say the least but thought might as well. . . my bf had the SE K800i and while unwilling to copy his phone choice. . . was sold by the fact it was such an awesome phone . . good camera, good enough music player for me (camera is more important for me i rarely listen to my music on my phone) really really comfy buttons to use combine that with SE brilliant menu layout, your option to be able to change pretty much anything with regards to look layout and sound and i was convinced. . . however when i went too upgrade i got informed there was an upgrade to the K800i out . . . . thats all that needed to be said i was on it. .
Unfortunately somehow SE screwed up royally. . . they took an amazing phone . . did next to nothing other than change the outaide and add one minute feature and completly messed the phone up. . . .
The lack of new feaures didnt bother me too much it was free had all the essentials i wanted and didnt look identical to my bf's so no risk of muddling up. . the problems came when it started to go wrong. . .shocking as its predecessor is describe as indestructable by many people.
First the joy stick (not a huge suprise and not one i minded too much, as a phone used plenty during the day i accepted minor mechanical fault)
However, the freezing of the screen, the inablility to turn it back on when it had run out of charge until you had put a good 45 mins charge into it was annoying to say the least.
The time when it would receive no sinal at all only "emergency calls" grr repaired bt still highly inconvenent for a good two and a half weeks, the joystick then going repeatedly every few month. . (my bf uses his phone as much as me. . to and from texts etc and NEVER had to have his K800i repaired once! and he had it a good deal longer as well)
Combine all these faults with the sheer uncomfortableness of the buttons which is a total turnaround from the ultra confy buttons of its predecssor . . . . they took an awesome phone and made it suck. . . .a talent yes. . . but not a good one. . . . if your looking at this and liking the features go for a K800i . . . identical apart from look and "best pic" which i might add i NEVER used. . . identical expect for one thing. . . . the K800i is 10x less likely to ever give you a problem!

Good: clean looks
Bad: camera is unsharp compared to the older K7501i
Comment: phone looks very well finished but its a poor performerin many ways.sluggish...many keys are too small...
i bought it specially after my fantastic experience with the camera on the K750i. i think i just wasted my money on this piece of junk. even the software update form the service centre didnt help.thoroughly dissapointed!trying to get rid of it asap. SE wake up!!

Good: Looks, Screen, Camera.
Bad: Sometimes bit slow + battery life.
Comment: Ok i previously had a nokia 1600. it was my first phone and was good for what it was. (also had amazing battery life, i had to charge it about once a week). Then i decided, hey, why not, ill get one of those cool music camera things. so i looked around a bit and went for this one. Most of the people i know have the K800i and it isnice to have a different model. To be honest i think this phone looks stunning.
The camera is great, the top buttons are useful for shortcutting to the camera album etc. Bluetooth is good and music player is fine.
Only thing is... it is identical to the k800i. I got mine on orange for about 130(i think) and the k800i is about £70/80. So if u want a phone that is more unique and look amazing then u should pay the extra bit.
Its a great phone but is occasionally a bit slow. Sometimes it completely halts and you just have to leave it for a few seconds. And very occasionally, it will just shut off for no reason. Don't let this scare you because this phone will usually work perfectly.
Very good phone, if i had the choice between k800i and k810i then i would chose k810i
(L) it :)

Good: The camera; clear text
Bad: Pretty well everything else
Comment: My company chose the K810i following recommendations on numerous review sites. We are locked into 18-month contracts, otherwise we would have thrown our K810i's in the bin. Main problems: (i) frequently doesn't ring at all for incoming calls; (ii) it's INCREDIBLY slow! It takes a full 5 seconds for most actions – even moving from one icon to the next on the directory window; (iii) even when it does ring, it's too easy to miss: even if it's nearby, in your pocket, whatever – and of course that's at full volume; (iv) it lost and/or mixed up a load of my contacts details when I transferred from my previous sim card; (v) it's just lost me an important meeting because the calendar alarm went off two hours AFTER the time it was set for; (vi) yes, as others say, the keys are too small; (vii) the technology is outdated and clumsy. I tried an iPhone while in the States, and thought that was how technology should look and work. No more Sony Ericsson for me. Avoid! for your sanity!

Good: I have this phone and there are so many features on it. The camera is great quality, the speaker is reasonably loud, regardless of what others might say and it is just the best phone you could buy!
Bad: The only bad thin for me is that the battery life isnt as long as it says it is. But that might be because i never stop using this phone because it is so damn great i cant put it down!
Comment: I love this phone. Some might say that the speaker isnt loud enough, or the camera lense cover keeps falling over, but they are clumsy people who dont look after their phone. The speaker is very loud, the lense cover is secure and tight, and this phone is just the best i have every had. I have gone through 4 other phones thinking they are great, but this one tops them all! I usually buy a new phone every year, but this one is surely a keeper! I love it to bits and i am not buying a new one until this one is in a thousand pieces! ITS FREAKEN AWESOME!

Good: Camera
Bad: No Chinese font Input / The after sales support.
Comment: There is enough racism and ethnic conflict in this society without companies like Sony Erricsson making things worse. I am referring to Your K810i.I have discovered lately that it dont support Chinese font input! its such a terrifying "behind time" product u have in this century.
I called up your help desk in Kuala Lumpur(1800889900), also I wrote in to your online support in Malaysia. And both the reply were asking me to send the set to your Erriction service center.
I went to your Service center in Johor Baru ( The state capital of Johor) yesterday(13/12/2007) at about 1600hrs.How anoying and terrifying excuss they gave me! They cant fix this problem and they need to divert it to Kuala Lumpur, thats about 350KM away from JB. And it need 3 working days to get it fixed.
This kind of after sales service is truely unacceptable.Bad news spread like wild fire. And good reputatiion dont grow in 1 day.
I would better scrap this stupid Sony Ericsson K810i and go back to Nokia as I have been using since years ago. Or tell the whole world that nobody should use Sony Erricsson product unless U are staying in Tokyo or Sweden where the research & development teams in( Infact Im doing it).
Thats All.

Good: Stunning camera. Looks great. Incredibly easy to use.
Bad: Abit chunky
Comment: After switching from a samsung because the camera at night was so bad, this is amazing. Not only can this produce amazing pictures, but the features on the camera and ease of use are very clever - you turn the phone sideways and flip the back down, and youve got literally a digital sony camera! I had a sony cybershot (which i broke after a drunken night out!) and id have to say that i prefer the camera on this to that (although that was 7mp) for ease of use alone.
This phone is also alot easier to navigate about than other makes i've had and I really like the style. I dont really understand people complaining about the buttons; the joystick could perhaps be abit bigger but its really not that bad - and the buttons dont ache MY hand when I text on it! Its a little on the chunky side - but im nit-picking because the ever so slight extra build on it than other makes out there, is due to the camera which really is worth it!
Some people are annoyed about the fact its barely an upgrade from the old K800i - I didnt have this so cant comment; I switched from a Samsung D900 which id say looks better, but is less than half the gadget this is.
I chose this over the new K850i due to the extra price just for a slightly better camera.
Overall - really really impressed

Good: Nice design, good camera and bright colourful display
Bad: The 2 top buttons.
Comment: I think this phone is great. I got it on Monday sim free off ebay for £160 but it is worth every penny. In your hand it looks so good and its better when you turn it on. The bright colourful display is pleasing. When you use tha camera it is all its cracked up to be. Simply superb. The only thing that annoys me is the 2 top buttons beside the camera on the front. They are awful and no use and you cant even change the shortcuts. I love this phone!
