Good: The stylish design and how everything can fit into the sleek, thin phone

Bad: Nothing

Comment: This is a phone which suits everyone! It has the 3.2 mp camera, mp3 player, photo/video viewer and all of this is in a sleek, thin and very stylish design!
A BIT expensive but every cent is definitely worth it.
I have had many phone in the past but this is by far the best mobile phone

Good: Not much!

Bad: Pretty much everything!

Comment: I have to disagree with most reviews I've found on the web. I've had this phone for one day and it's driving me insane already! It looks nice but is very light in the hand and feels a little cheap and plasticky - I'd be terrified of dropping it! The menu structure is OK but oh, those hot keys are awful - they're 'heat sensitive' but too sensitive in my humble opinion. You can be doing something simple like typing a text message and woh, you are suddenly being asked if you want to save to drafts because perhaps a gnat landed on one of the keys! It's very frustrating. It also seems to quit in the middle of doing something and goes back to the 'home page' though this is probably all to do with those darn keys. About the ONLY thing I like about this phone is the 'wallpaper' - whilst in the UK you get a picture of Big Ben and as the day goes on, the sky gets darker! Quite clever. This of course changes if you go overseas - it will change to the local landmark in that country. Also, if someone should nick your phone and swap sim cards, the phone somehow knows if someone's put a new sim card in and sends you a message to alert you to the fact that some numpty has nicked it or picked it up! Personally speaking, I think I'd know pretty instantly if my phone was missing!

There's been a lot of hype about this handset and a lot of oohs and aahs - yes, it looks pretty... ish, but I'm not convinced I'm afraid. I think I'd rather go for something like the SE K810i - at least you know whey are solid and, personally speaking, I am familiar with the software! I am taking my Samsung U600 and the contract back to Carphone Warehouse. You may all of course disagree totally with me but mobiles are a personal thing and this is just my personal opinion - I've had Nokias and SEs most of my mobile life so perhaps that's why! If you want a phone that looks 'the part', then get it, but you may be disappointed with the lack of functionality (no 3G and not compatible with the '3' network).

Good: Appearance and size

Bad: Way too sensitive

Comment: Samsung U600 looks fabulous, fits in the pockets of the skinniest jeans, however whilst you can't see it, who knows what it's doing. You tried and read a text message, but end up calling the person, you try to hany up, but you need to press about 6 buttons to do this. Not a good phone for pay-as-you-go people - steals your credit. Samsung need to realise that looks aren't everything, size doesn't matter, it is what you can do with it that counts.

Good: Stereo bluetooth, thinest slider in the world, good battery

Bad: No flash

Comment: Don't listen to the editor whine about no standard headphone adapter. That's like crying because your new wireless laptop doesn't have a plug for a dialup phone line or even worse a floppy disk drive. This is 2007, the phone has stereo bluetooth, so go out and by some Motorola S9 headphones and be completely wireless. Best phone ever! If you can get the money and buy this phone you will not be disapointed. I love the phone because I hate stuff in my pocket and the phone is perfect because I cannot even feel it in my pocket. I promise if you buy some bluetooth stereo headphones and get used to listening to yor music wirelessly, you won't care about no flash or that the standard headphone jack is missing. Unless your the type that can't let go of that floppy drive....embrace technology!
