Good: my phone got snapped at a party, glued back 2gether and still works better than my nokia
Bad: i got given a purple one :(
Comment: Bit tricky to learn my way round, having been a nokia user for 10 years, but far superior once you get used to it! Very nice camera, and stereo bluetooth is cool!

Good: Slim and light
Bad: Extremely poor battery life
Comment: The phone is poor quality and not what one would expect from Samsung, battery will last for 3 days even if you don’t use it, Samsung say 270 hours standby, talk time is about 40 minutes from a charge, Samsung say 4 hours, and very flimsy build. The phone is ok if you have a socket in your pocket to keep it plugged in, not very mobile, the screen will say LIMITED SERVICE most of the time yet you can put another phone next to it and have full Orange network.
Good points it light and thin and easy to use.

Good: its good to look at.
Bad: very unreliable and slow.
Comment: All the focus was used on the design of the phone and none on reliability. Very cheaply thrown together and very flimsy ie... back battery cover. With the problems I was experiencing by about the third month, God only knows how the insides were constructed and from cheap crappy parts I am sure.

Good: its thin
Bad: list too long, this phone was a pathetic waste of money as it give me nothing but trouble from the start. Where is it now? binned by samsung after only 7 months!
Comment: In all honestly this was the worst phone I have ever purchased. Though the design was good, thinness and looks the phone itself was very annoying to use. I had problems with the keyboard burning out after 3 months which was fixed by samsung. When I played music you could hear a sizzling sound and keyboard was hot to the touch. Then I was just out of warranty when same thing happened again and with christmas season was delayed in returning it. They said it was cracked and my fault. I never hardly used the thing. I think it was very cheaply thrown together and would not recommend this phone to anybody!

Good: Looks good
Bad: Poor functionality, S L O W Camera
Comment: Now on FOURTH handset, still got the same problems with failure to retain settings when changing profiles (function availability is network dependant)
has REALLY put me off Samsung

Good: when it's back in its box
Bad: irritating touch-sensitivity
Comment: I must be a luddite. I like mechanical keys that respond when I press them, not a phone that rings your bank on a premium number if you just breath on it.
When using the U600 you feel like you're trying to seduce a fickle lover who reacts unexpectedly at every prompt.
Yet again, after trying to find an upgrade that matches the Samsung E800 and having tried the LG Chocolate and now this useless U600 I am convinced that the constant egging on to upgrade is a magnificent con.
The new models I've tried lack the robustness, reliability and serious user-friendliness required by someone who is not into show, but wants a phone that works without having to seduce it.

Good: Good quality photos
Bad: HORRID touch sensitive buttons and HUGE shutter lag
Comment: I came from a lowly Nokia 3100 to this Samsung u600 and was a little dissapointed. I found the interface was slower than my 3-4 year old Nokia 3100, I know it's better looking but it's still slower. The shutter lag on the camera can be anything from 2-6 seconds, but the pictures taken in daylight were VERY good quality for a phone. The worst thing was the damn touch-sensitive buttons. I've mistakenly called somebody a few times so far. If you accidently press the send button it brings up the last callers if you then accidently press the button agian it then dials the last person you called. Seeing as the send button is touch sensitive and not really a button you can't tell when you've touched it without looking at the screen.

Good: Touch senstive buttons, slide function, massive screen, more
Bad: Nothing
Comment: I luv it! Got it on Saturday and it is so much better than my Sony Ericsson w810i
