Good: Amazing Specs!
Bad: Too Big, Plastic
Comment: Very cool! Amazing CPU on paper. But the plastic isnt for me, nor is the 5inches a bit too big to my liking.
Good: The resolution, camera, processor, pixel density and large screen.
Bad: The look of plastic.
Comment: Leaving Apple for S4 Apple is too greedy they don't include much features on their phone cos busy counting money. Love S4. However I think Apple have learnt their lesson and next iPhone is going to be completely different cos ov competition... For now the best phone S4.
Good: Screen, Speed (supposedly)
Bad: Design, construction, Touch Wiz, Gimmicks
Comment: So the Galaxy S3s then !
Design is still dull, plasticy and cheap looking. Come on guys this is a £400++ phone and it looks like a fisher price toy again! The S3 felt too light in the hand for the size and this is even worse!.
TouchWiz is also very Fisherprice looking and the gimmicks Samsung have added are getting worse. The Gesture control looks slower than physically pressing the screen! The Nexus 4 feels much more premium and its £230-280 ! + You get a decent spec and real Android OS.
Good: Battery,Cpu,ram, camera, smaller but bigger screen,1080p,durable build with gorilla glass 3
Bad: it looks pretty much the same as s3,maybe a litle more classier
Comment: its great the battery has been upgraded to 2600. s3 already had one of the best batterys this upgrade twill take it even further ahead of the likes of apple and with the new cpu making sure it using less battery it wil be great important improvement!
a bigger screen and less to hold in your hand is another great improvement. really look at the other 5" screen mobiles and they are all bigger!!!! that's will gain s4 more customers.
1080p is anither great improvement from s3. the gorilla glass 3 from 2 on s3 is another good improvement I like the new function of taking picture with sound, it really will add another dimension to your memory .....
another cool thing was controlling without touch. and camera taking 100 picture in 4seconds is absoultly mind blowing!
some say it has plastic but I want it that way personally!
I use to have I-phone and I shattered the screen twice one them. that was just horrible. I see my friends I-phones with shattered screens too. this way its more durable, lighter, and far cheaper to replace cover!!!
another great improvement that sets this apart from apple is its 4g lte is all bands. which means while you need 3 different I-phones to do what a single s4 will do. it can be used on differents netwoeks 4glte and their different bands , like in other countries or here in uk on different networkd 4g lte (o2 ,ee,vodafone)....
and the security is great add on.
it is by far the best smartphone out there!
now it looks too similar to s3 but I believe they change the looks every 2 years cycle. and its only been 10 months since s3 came out.
all in all great improvments to keep it at the top of the hill.
but maybe not enough for an s3 owner to upgrade only after 10 months. but I guess this one was mostly targeted for s2 users and others than s3 owners.
for me the battery improvments will be the biggest deal of all that will make this really shine over the rest when you are using s4!
Good: Battery, Specs
Bad: Screen size, Design
Comment: This has to be one of the most underwhelming phone releases ever. After seeing the stunning new offering from HTC last month I was waiting for this to be released to make up my mind what to buy but nothing about the design of this phone screams premium. Screen size is also a little big for my liking. Looks like I'll plump for the HTC despite the lack of a removable battery.
Good: Great screen, Android 4.2.2
Bad: Very similar in design to GS III (I like the GS III but was hoping for something new).
Comment: Although I give it 4.5 stars I say it's not for me for 2 reasons: Firstly, I am currently using a GS III and I don't feel that the GS 4 is adds enough (for me) to warrent getting an S4. The S III is an awesome phone so naturally the S 4 will be better and so deserves a good score.
Secondly, I feel when I next come to upgrade later in the year I will probably break away from costly contracts and (assuming Google continues with its current pricing structure) move over to what ever Nexus phone is around at the time.
Good: nice screen
Bad: its like the s3
Comment: samsung galaxy s4 Event ( Google Hangout ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5MRpSLZMRo
Comment: It has a removable battery.. I'm living with the Nexus 4 and no removable battery. HTC One looks nice.. No removable battery.. Xperia Z looks nice.. No removable battery.
Bad: Not out yet
Comment: Glad they have added IR as well now. 1 less remote on my table..
Good: New Specs. Comes with Android 4.2.2. 2600mah battery.
Bad: Nothing innovative......All talk about eye scrolling!!!
Comment: I own a nexus 4 and no I am not here to do a comparison.
And i am not going to do a breakdown of specs as that is just boring. Want specs go look at the Samsung website.
Just to say that at the end of the day are you going to use all or any of those new changes they have made or added to the phone. Most people use their phones for social networking, messaging, downloading Apps/Games/Books/Magazines,listening to music, Youtubing oh and of course to make and take calls. You get nearly all of that with most phones out at this moment. The only people who should buy this phone are the 'Tech Junkies' who have to have the latest phone.
Have phones hit a plateau?
