Comment: Quad core makes for an exhilarating experience! The shear intelligence of all the new features makes for an absolute great phone to own!! Outstanding!!!
Good: Replaceable battery, SD card, Cool features
Bad: Sync with mac's
Comment: I am so excited by this phone. Many recent android sets are not allowing you to replace the battery or the ability to have a SD card. I was relieved when Samsung allowed the user the ability to change your battery and install a SD card,
The HTC One X is a very good phone, but why will they not allow you to change your battery.
I love some of the features Samsung have released for the S3, the eye tracking is a very promising feature.
I am due for my next upgrade in October, this is looking very likely to be my next phone.
Good: Specs look decent
Bad: CNET's double standards
Comment: "Construction is also one area where the S3 could score a point over HTC's One X, which suffers from a dodgy display."
The HTC screen is not "dodgy" unless unless you press it harder than you should ever need to. CNET, you're reviews really are nonsense.
Good: It's keeping the other's on their toes
Bad: Small camera. full of gimmicks
Comment: Not a lot of change from SG2
Comment: 4 stars for the software inside the design of the shape of the phone seems as if it should been the design of the s2 major step back and i think the s2 should be the design for the s3 personnaly i think that should of happened but i would get this phone coz i love the whole idea of the phone overall :)
Good: Big Screen
Bad: Build and Design
Comment: Looks really dated and cheap unfortunately. Samsung are poor at phone design.
If this came out 4 years ago it would be a drool-over design. But this is 2012 it just doesn't cut it.
Build quality MUST be better than the S and S2 If I'm going to get one. My S2 creeks sometimes and the USB port is a joke.
Other than that specs are not amazing.
They obviously didn't know what to do when the iphone5 failed to surface as that seems to always determine Samsung's direction to they made a larger version of the S2 and shaved the corners off back to 2008.
Bad: Only to know after it reaches in the hands..
Comment: How you people predict the battery life .. it is still not come in the market..and Samsung put a good battery than S2.. be authentic in your comments.. As an ASIAN I proud of Samsung..
Good: Processor, Screen, Thinking about the user, S voice S Share, Quad Core, Camera Features
Bad: Prefer more rectangular over oval
Comment: Aliward15 (and others) not sure if you have had a Samsung before, but I have had both. Sense is nothing compared to the new TWiz as of last year. They may have refined it some because of samsungs improvement, but the flying screens etc will anoy you. GS3 has it all over X as long as, like another reviewer said, the camera lives up to what it says. It will be the best, next to the Galaxy Nexus, pure google. Nothing better than that. Updated first and no Sense OR TWiz.
Good: Processor, screen, ICS
Bad: Design, TouchWiz isnt as good as Sense and One X is so much better!
Comment: CNET I cannot understand you. I want you to carefully take a look at this review and then do the same for the One X. You may notice a few things:
Quad Core Processor: For the HTC One X, a Quad Core Processor is 'Overkill'. However on the S3 review, you say its brilliant. I dont understand that at all. There both the same so how can you slate one when you are praising the other?? Surely your not biased are you CNET?
Huge screen: Now lets get this straight. The 4.7 inch screen on the One X is too big. Yet the 4.8 inch screen on the S3 is amazing. Yet again, im confused. And yet again it begs the question: are you biased CNET??
I have just ordered the One X now and I cannot wait to get it. In my opinion it is so much better than the S3, mostly down to the pricing and HTC Sense. Its also clear Samsung have copied the One X on features like recording video while taking still shots, having a continuous burst mode, and giving free Dropbox space away with the phone.
I will be honest, I like this phone (apart from the design) but I think the One X is better and seeing how biased CNET are towards the S3 is plain stupid and ridiculous.
Comment: This seems like a very good successor to the S2. I love some of the features that I've seen demoed on Youtube and in other place. I love my S2 but I wish HTC, Samsung and Google would get together and make a super skin. I hate all of the fragmentation and it's where iPhone is simple for new non-techies. I still love my S2 though.
One other comment... in the CNet review, one of their bad points is based on an issue with the S2 model, and the other on something they suppose but don't yet know. That's unfair and just a little bit stupid. In any case CNet lost credibility with me when they began to allow malware to be a part of their software downloads.
