Good: Good Looking

Bad: Price, Battery and Display with low resolution

Comment: I think this phone is great for girls and ladies. It looks alike S3 but is more smaller and it's more comfortable in ladies hands. Girls don't interest what have inside. Yes hardware is not that good but whatever.

Good: Great for general use.

Bad: Access to external sd card, on-board RAM

Comment: Music playback is very good (through headset) with a rich tonal quality on normal settings and the 7.1 setting.
This is a great phone for general use but on the down side it could use a bit more on the RAM.
Since I do not play games on the phone, I cannot comment performance in this area.
I personally think this is is a better phone than my old Ace 2.

Good: Running Jelly Bean

Bad: Pity Samsung Didnt make it same as S3 but just smaller size

Comment: Its just a Galaxy S Advance....Samsung rather than updating S Advance ,bring this out and just add Jelly Bean and expect people to buy a new phone...A real con...Would have been nice to see a smaller S3,but with all the same features as S3...A REAL LET DOWN from Samsung :-(

Good: Jelly Bean, but not the latest version.

Bad: Cheaper phone masquerading as a smaller version of the S3 and priced OTT.

Comment: This is a cynical move to try and con people into thinking they are buying a smaller, lite version of the S3.
This phone is just a cheaper Samsung Ace 2 with a slightly larger AMOLED screen (rather than TFT but with exactly the same screen resolution), a faster processor and more RAM all packed into an S3 lookalike body. Everything else inside is the same.
It's one redeeming feature is that it runs Jelly Bean (but not the latest version) instead of Gingerbread 2.3 as on the Ace 2.
S3 Mini is £300, the Ace 2 is £190.

Comment: I've ordered a blue one. I think it will suit me fine. Capable enough for what I want to do and compact enough to fit in my hand and pocket comfortably. I have G Nexus, I find the large size irritating and I rarely watch video on it so the screen is wasted on me. Better specs would be nice in the S3 mini, but I think it will more than do. Don't let the Phone Fascists tell you what to get, make up your mind. The world is full of sad, angry people; pity them.

4.0 inch 480 x 800 221pp screen , dual core 1gz, Adreno 200 gpu that's the same as the £99 Huawei Ascend G300!!! is the mini turd phone worth the £200 samsuck tax? NOPE!

this phone has got an abysmal 480 x 800[221ppi] resolution screen, why don't you call samsung out on this pathetic resolution for a 4.0 inch phone? We are almost in 2013, CHARGING £300 FOR a low res display is criminal.

you can get the far superior nexus 4 16gb for £279 but that phone is alot bigger[ 4.7 vs 4 inch] and is currently sold out so for arguments sake i will remove it from comparison.
some 4.0 inch phones with similar or better performance and specs are less half the price of this junk phone. acer liquid gallant duo-£169, Sony xperia J £150, Huawei Ascend G300-£100...

the 4.3 inch Sony xperia S 32gb [which is only 1 mm wider and 0.6 mm thicker] beats this s3 mini in specs and build quality. the Xperia S is also priced £300 payg and has got 720 x 1280 [342 ppi] screen, 32gb storage, 1080p recording,Adreno 220 gpu, Playstation certified and 12 MP camera...
ONLY samsung worshipping morons would buy this overpriced underpowered phone.



Samsung are banking on idiots who see the words 'samsung' and SIII and ONLY buy it because of brand recognition thinking it is as good as its surfboard sized million inch brother.
The south koreans sure know how to take clueless westerners for idiots.



overpriced korean junk like this phone shows the decline of samsung. this is what happens when they DON'T copy and rip-off apple....



Samsung could give us a steaming pile of sh*t [Ttongsul ??] and we will still praise it as being fresh and different....

Good: Good operating system, light weight

Bad: camera, hardware, thickness

Comment: best phone for now is either the Samsung Galaxy S3 (normal, not mini) or the LG Nexus 4
