Comment: I have had this phone for 3 days and i love it! I've had the iPhone 3GS and was going to upgrade to the iPhone 4 but thought i would go for something different so i chose the Samsung Galaxy S and have not regretted it. It has an amazing bright screen, your own wi-fi so you can connect your laptop to the phone to get an internet connection, it's super fast and has got 8GB but you can also add a memory card! However as everyone moans about the battery it will only go down superfast if you are constantly on games or apps with wi-fi on, if you are not on the internet all the time or apps and you are just making calls and texting the battery will last all day with loads of battery time remaining also i feel that the iPhone is louder when you have your headphones in and i feel the app store is better than the android market but other than this its a great phone and would deffinately recommend this phone to anyone! :D

Good: Loads of free apps, wi-fi, mobile tracker, camera
Bad: Battery life and fingerprints of screen
Comment: I love this phone. My husband had an iPhone and even he said in some respects that it was better (he just loved his phone), however, he has now said he would look into getting this phone. The app store has alot more apps for free than iPhones. I love everything about this phone and I find it so easy to use. The camera is so good I have stopped using my digital camera as its just another thing to carry thats not needed. The battery life isn't great but if you keep an eye on it, you should be fine.
I highly recommend this phone to anyone wanting a touchscreen smartphone without being stuck with itunes.
The last thing I want to say about this phone, which I think is a must on mobiles, is the mobile tracker installed. My husband left his phone in a taxi and we never got it back, although the phone was shut down, the person still has all our photos, videos and contacts. With this tracker, I can find out where my phone is (roughly) and if needed I can erase the whole phone so they don't get my personal bits.
Best phone I've ever used

Good: Incomparably Outstanding Screen, Fast processing Speeds, Sublime graphical processing capabilities and Immersive functionality.
Bad: No camera flash, Possibly the Samsung Widgets (which I personally do not find bad).
Comment: I have been trying to understand why CNET enjoy comparing the iPhone 4 to the Galaxy S. Its not in the same league, nay, not even in the same galaxy. If you look at various reviews, i.e. the likes of smartphoneenvy.com, you'll see the results for yourself.
PS. CNET, you have made a grave mistake comparing the Retina display with the SAmoled. Retina is just full of pixels. Go figure.

Good: speed, camera, sat nav, email, useability.
Bad: battery life is a little short
Comment: I love this phne even just for the panoramic function on the camera and its SWYPE typing function. The Sat Nav is amazing too, don't buy a Tom Tom. It's a phonomenal piece of kit and I love it.

Good: Easy to use
Bad: The level of service from Samsung Customer Care
Comment: I had problems with the 3 film downloads. Firstly, you can buy these films in DVD format for half the price so it was a good job I was not paying for them.
Secondly, When I downloaded them they required the Sync rights to put on the phone, so you would think that the sync rights would be included in the download, especially at £9.99p per film.
Thirdly, the level or sshould that be the LACK of service from Samsung leaves alot to be desired. If you are un-lucky enough to have to contact Customer Support DON'T EXPECT MUCH.
Overall, a great phone but pray you never get a problem and haver to contact Samsung.

Good: Supports Adobe flash, has HD video recording, lots of storage space.
Bad: Slow?
Comment: I've watched lots of review of this phone and comparisons to the iPhone and when you put the two together, the Samsung Galaxy S just looks to work better:
-It has a faster and clearer zoom on images, GPS,webpages etc.
-It runs adobe flash when surfing the web.
-It has 16GB of storage space and with a 32GB MicroSD card, you can get up to 48GB of storage! The iPhone only reaches 32GB.
-I was told that the Android on-screen keyboard is much more comfortable than the one on the iPhone. It "knows" where you WANT to press.
Many reviews claim this phone to work slowly and to be unresponsive... Many reviews claim otherwise. This is crucial information which I haven't been able to recieve good information about yet. Even video reviews have been hard to trust.
I'm still trying to decide between this and the iPhone 4, just because the iPhone is a "safe" pick - proven to never fail or slow down... But the Galaxy S just has better features.
Tips from anyone who owns this or an iPhone 4 or both are very welcome.
