Good: Good camera, nice looking and slim, nice screen, everything works.

Bad: Not a very exciting phone to use and own.

Comment: This is quite a straightforward phone; nothing particularly exciting about it, but it performs nicely all round. That said, I have not tried any similar phones so I can't really compare.

Good: erm........? it looks ok, the screen is a nice size.

Bad: camera, message tones, ring volume, it always freezes up, etc, etc.

Comment: I bought this phone as it was supposed to be so wonderful with it's 5mp camera and all the other goodies packed into it.
In two weeks I have exchanged it twice as I thought it was faulty because it kept freezing up when doing pretty much anything on it but especially when texting and then you have to wait for it to unfreeze to use it again. Also when texting if you put in a wrong letter and try to backspace most of the time it will delete your whole message so you have to start again! slightly annoying!
If the camera is 5mp then I am David Bailey, it is absolutely appalling and trying to get a clear picture is near on impossible always seem to be blurry, the shutter speed is very slow as well, so forget trying to snap anything quick or moving, you'll miss it!
Trying to connect to the PC is a nightmare as well quite often it will tell you connection has failed occasionally it works.
There are only a couple of different message tones built in and they are pretty rubbish and there is absolutely no way of downloading your own tones, this day and age you would think that would be a standard ability on cell phone.
All in all I am very disappointed with the phone, as far as I am concerned Samsung are trying to sell something that isn't ready to be sold yet, they need to do some more work on it.
I am returning my phone and exchanging it for a LG Viewty which is pretty much similar in features but "apparently" a lot better quality at the same price, let's see if that one does what it's supposed to, I will let you all know!

Good: Slim, good camera

Bad: There isn't anything I don't like

Comment: I have had this phone for a week now, i did alot of reviewing before i got this phone so was pretty confident about it, but i have got to say it is better then i expected i love this phone.
It is easy to navigate- decent enough camera and is easy to text, i love the way you can personalise it though- it doesn't come with exciting wallapapers but that's cause you can easily add your own and also create your own menu theme which is pretty cool- and i really like the music player, you can create your playlists for all your mp3s so its easy to manage your tunes and its good to listen to. phone calls are very clear and ringtone volume is more then loud enough. There isn't anything i don't liek about this phones i think it's great!

Good: Good display, fairly easy to navigate menus

Bad: Camera is poor. Weight balance when in use

Comment: This phone is not bad but it just isn't that good either. It boasts a 5MP camera. I don't think it's too crash hot as any pictures I've taken look fuzzy, and are no better in quality compared to my Sony Ericsson W810i which this replaced (although I'm sending the Samsung back). I mentioned weight balance in use - when you slide the phone open, it becomes very top heavy (all the screen and camera gubbins are obviously housed in the top sliding section) which makes it cumbersome for texting. Voicecall clarity is fine but again not as good as my W810i and the relatively sharp edges that are exposed when the phone is open make it slightly uncomfortable to hold. The phone promises much in terms of features but in my opinion fails to deliver.

Good: The music player, the slim design, the ability to create your own themes

Bad: The slider starts getting a bit loose with use

Comment: I love this phone, I really don't understand the bad reviews, so I thought I would chip in and stick up for the G600. I actually swapped my Sony Ericsson K850i for the G600, and comparing the 2, I much prefer the G600.

The phone is made from very good quality materials, metal at the front and plastic at the back. The screen is very bright and clear, and its a gorgeous phone to look at and is so slim, and fits well in your hand. The keys are metal, and as a texter I find it very comfortable.

The media player is good, and one feature I like is that albums can be viewed via album art. Also, the phone allows you to create your own themes.

The camera is good too, obviously not as good as the SE K850i camera, but its good for a mobile phone. The quality of the videos are excellent though !

The G600 doesnt have any many functions as some phones, but I find the features it does have, work well.

Good: to be honest, nothing now!

Bad: everything else

Comment: i recently bought a samsung g600 and oh my god ive never had such a rubbish phone! firstly when i try and listen to music on the mp3 player it wont read whats on the memory card and finaly when it does it will play for about 5 seconds then either freeze or turn its self off. and its not just with music it hardly ever opens my pictures or plays my videos because it keeps saying not supported content. how can it not be supported content when the pictures and videos have been taken or filmed on that phone! secondly for 5 mega pixels i think the camera is really poor i also have a sony ericcson k810i which has a 3.2 mega pixel camera which i think is stunning compared to the 5 mega pixel on the g600 thats if what they put in it is actually a 5 mega pixel camera! thirdly half the time im on the phone to someone the phone wii either freeze, turn its self off or put the caller on hold n then makes it impossible to retrieve the call!!! to be honest i could write about the problems ive had with it all night but i think id run out of space. if anyones thinking about buying one of these phone then dont.... go for a sony ericcson!!! ive have read so many good reveiws about this phone but ive yet to have experienced anything work properly on mine. would love to hear from anyone that has had any of the same or similar problems.
