Bad: Battery life, bloatware

Comment: @Al Day Thank you for your comment. You convinced me there was a fault on my handset and after some investigation i found out the fault was in the software of my Orange San Francisco. I eventually fixed the problem and, for the first time ever, i have been able to access the Android Market on my San Francisco! It must have been the Orange bloatware that was causing the problem. Still can't recommend the San Francisco II after all the trouble i've had with the original. And the battery life is still terrible compared to the similarly specced and priced Acer Liquid Metal. The Acer Liquid Metal has three times longer battery life!

Good: nice cheap & cheerful Android phone.

Bad: not much really considering the price.

Comment: @Iokasti Kassie yes you can use the San Francisco 1 on wifi & download apps you can also surf the internet, watch videos on youtube & everything else, Orange don't stop you from doing this in any way shape or form.

Comment: @stanjackos Maybe Orange have allowed access to android market this time around, but on the old San Francisco there was no access to Market if you used wifi. I still wouldn't trust orange though, not after being burned by them before.

Also the £130 Acer Liquid Metal has very similar specs but is unlocked, has no bloatware and has a battery that lasts nearly three times longer than the San Francisco II. Battery life on the San Francisco II is one of the worst i've ever seen and it was also a problem with the original San Francisco.

Comment: The first san francisco was absolutely abysmal. I couldn't even use android market because Orange don't allow access to the market when you're on wifi. Absolute trash company to be avoided at all costs.

Comment: I own the San Francisco 1 and thought it was great (for the money) then the Mrs got a Samsung Galaxy S2 , and I realised how slow it is , hope this is a step up as Im ready for a new one again , so its a toss up with this or the Galaxy Ace me thinks
