Good: The screen resolution
Bad: Literally everything else
Comment: I have had this phone for about a year now and in this period of time it has been sent off for repair three times because of the screen. It kept freezing and then shutting off and each time it came back it still didnt work. The battery life is awful, it barely lasts a day and normally in a day i use it for listening to music or texting. The camera had a very low resolution and was very dissapointing until it stopped working. Overall: the phone doesnt connect with the camera, the battery life is shameful, the screen breaking constantly and freezing is just simply bad and there are a lack of cases. I may have just had a faulty one but evertime it was "repaired" nothing was done. To anyone out there DONT BUY THIS PHONE for the above reasons and it is unreliable.
Good: Very fast, nice screen, good sound, sleek
Bad: Fragile, battery, support, Orange, Intel
Comment: It is a great phone, or at least a phone with great potential. The hardware is high quality, and you can tell: it is fluid, the screen is excellent, and the sound is much better than other phones in this class.
However, great parts do not make a great phone. First of all Intel has never quite finished Android for Intel, and more and more games are now incompatible with it. The OS is getting out of date, and the bootloader is locked, so nothing can be done about it.
And unfortunately the phone does not age well, either. The battery was never great, but it is starting to fail after less than a year. So is the USB connector. Orange service is a disaster (as usual). So overall this phone was a mistake.
Good: speed, screen, sound
Bad: worst build quality ever, no memory slot
Comment: worst build quality, cracks start appearing on sides near buttons.
Screen resolution is very good but build quality is too bad to be recommended. Nice and fast processor but need a good outer shell too
Good: decent phone all in all
Bad: on/off button
Comment: As everyone else has been saying, the on/off button has completely packed in on my phone as well.
I got the phone and a few weeks later the button became permanently locked down and I had to use excessive force to unlock it. I took it into the orange shop and it was sent off to be fixed for several weeks and when I got it back it seemed fixed, however a few weeks later the same thing happened, and I just decided to leave it as it was still pretty much usable but recently the plastic around the button started snapping off and tonight the whole button and plastic around has completely fallen off! I will be complaining on saturday as the only way I can turn it on is by plugging it in or receiving a text, but I have a feeling Orange won't be very helpful. I really regret buying this phone.
Good: Cost, Speed, Screen, Rubberised back, Build quality, Micro HD, NFC
Bad: Orange interface, Buttons, No memory card slot
Comment: At less than £100 on pay as you go this handset is fantastic value and is a vast improvement on previous Orange/ZTE models. Once you get rid of the Orange interface (go to Modaco to see how) you have, in my view, a well designed handset, a fast processor, a nice screen (although not great in bright light) with some other nice features such as micro-HD connectivity and NFC capability. Worth noting that although it's an Orange phone, you can stick Virgin Mobile and T-Mobile micro-sims in there without any need to unlock. The buttons are a bit stiff but I've not had the same issues as other people have mentioned here so maybe early quality issues have been resolved. Overall, it's a really good phone for your dosh but don't expect it to compete with something costing three times as much.
Good: not alot
Comment: I had this phone in july and 6 weeks later, the on/off button has failed!I was given a replacement and sure enough 5 months later the on/off button has failed again!!The only way I can use the phone is to put it on charge and then the screen will light up!this time orange want to charge me nearly £60 to repair it!!I would really like to know why?afterall..the only crime I committed was to use the phone properly!!Not impressed.
Good: Screen, fast, smooth and responsive
Bad: nothing found
Comment: thats the best phone i used, I got iphone 4s but still love san diego for best in alll
Bad: The power on/off button
Comment: I wish I had read some of these reviews before getting this phone as an Orange upgrade. The power on/off button was a problem from when I first used it last November. Because of constantly having to put pressure on the phone to turn it on the actual button has now fallen apart. The only way I can turn the phone on is by plugging it in to the mains or if some-one calls me. So if I was out and needed to phone some-one I would'nt be able to. I haven't called Orange yet but I will let you know what they say when I do.
Good: good value for features
Bad: incredibly fragile
Comment: Yes, this phones has a very nice processor and screen for the price, but of the 3 people I know who have bought this phone, they've all broken them within 4 months. One of them their headphone jack broke within a couple of weeks, and then a few months later dropped their phone and the screen was compleatly smashed beyond use. The other also dropped the phone and it suffered a similar fate to the first one. The last one managed to drop it and somehow break the capacitive sheet below the screen. And of course if you drop your phone orange considers it not their fault, and so are compleately unhelpful.
Comment: I am interest but don't like Orange. Can it be unlocked?
