Good: Camera quality, range of features, music on Snake game

Bad: Build quality, freezing, unable to answer calls

Comment: Lovely looking phone... big screen... loads of features...camera takes great pictures... Initially I disliked the phone; stuff took too long to load, the back squeaked and felt cheap, it was almost too 'smart', it wiped my wallpaper for no reason... then I grew to like it and it remained bug-free for about a fortnight... then alas, the phone refused to answer calls! It crashed every time I tried... it had to go back...

Good: Great screen

Bad: Hangs a lot, poor flash, lot of .jpg compression for 3M camera, can't handle large PDFs, shutter lag

Comment: Frequent hangs when using the camera spoilt it for me - hard to live with. Phone needs frequent rebooting. New firmware may improve things but initial release premature in my opinion. Tried 3 phones under ELF and all had the same problems.

Good: Good camera, MP3 player that supports WMA and many other good features

Bad: Tends to freeze and yesterday the central navigation button came off!

Comment: This is a lovely looking phone, with a riot of excellent features. The camera is very good quality for a phone and I have found (as with all Nokias) that the whole thing is very easy to use. I have added a 2GB memory card and that is working brilliantly.

There is always a delay when opening anything, which is slightly annoying but fairly easy to live with. However, a couple of times when I have opened the photo gallery, the phone has frozen completely and I have to exit all applications in order to get it to work again. Then yesterday when I picked it up, the central navigation button, which is used for scrolling and selecting, fell off in my hands! According to Vodafone, Nokia has changed its policies and no longer exchange phones for new ones as they used to, so they want me to send it off to be repaired.

I think that this phone will be a perfect 10 when Nokia has sorted out some firmware issues, and I look forward to that day. Hopefully no more buttons will drop off in the meantime!

Good: The picture and video quality are really amazing and worth mentioning. A freind of mine up loaded an amazing video on YouTube and it was great. The reception and the voice quality was also very good. I tried out the video calling feature but as expected the front camera doesn't have the same quality as that of the main for obvious reasons.

Bad: The sluggishness of some applications to open and the occasional freezing up of the phone.

Comment: Generally I'd say the N73 is a great phone at the moment and I hope I'm not being too hasty in my judgement after having used it for only one day. Considering the price I was slightly disappointed when it froze but I'm hoping that was just a one-off. The music player sounds great and the 3D sound effect, which you can customise, is quite good. The keypad may be small but I found it okay and not as big a problem as some of the reviews I read stated. I did however get a memory card along with it and that should be a great advantage in storing loads of information or whatever else takes your fancy! The speaker is quite loud too, so I don't really have to worry about missing a call. I did find it weird to have to connect the supplied earphones in order to listen to the radio as I was hoping I could make use of the speakers instead of having to listen through earphones. That's it for the moment and I'm certainly exploring every aspect of the phone at the moment so will write a comprhensive one in a few days' time! Good luck if you are planning on buying this phone!

Good: I like the 3.2 megapixel camera and the way that the camera starts when you slide the cover. I also like pretty much everything else about it.

Bad: The keys could be a bit more prominent or larger and there could have been a few good themes on the phone.

Comment: Overall I think that the phone is great and I couldn't ask for much more really except getting a free memory card with the phone.
