Good: The Camera!!, Sharp Display, Effective Stereo Speakers, 2000mAh Battery, Live Tile Display, Gorilla Glass 2,
Bad: Windows Phone 8 still lacks the ability to send documents from E-Mails (read only), Notification technology still falls short, Currently ALL Network Locked to EE Group of Networks until Exclusivity Period expires, Tethering still not possible through a Cabled Connection
Comment: In the Windows Phone 8 division the 920 is certainly the 'Flagship Phone' with so much technology packed into such a tight space.
Having previously owned an 820 for a short period of time the 920 is most definitely worth the extra pennies, featuring Gorilla Glass 2, a much sharper display, a more heavy-duty battery, better speakers and an AWESOME Camera...but I do think the 'Flower Shot' they showed everyone in New York was slightly optimistic, No Light = No Photo!!
Good: OS, screen, camera, unique design
Bad: Possibly too late on the scene to make an impact?
Comment: It seems somewhat hypocritical of CNET to criticise WIndows Phone for its lack of apps when they haven't made one for it themselves. Is there one in the pipeline?
Good: The camera, You can use your gloves, wire-less charging, NFC, WP8, X-box music....
Bad: Nothing that i can think of. Some people say that its too heavy, i think it's a plus. Now i can use my phone as a stone *_*
Comment: Most revolutionary phone of this decade
Good: Screen resolution, Voice recognition, Camera, etc...
Comment: This phone rock, the screen resolution is out of this world, the voice recognition is top notch and the maps and GPS are faultless, if you are tired of apple, go and buy this phone, you won't be disappointed
10 out of 10
Good: O.S, Sleek, Smooth, Sound Quality from Speakers, Large Screen, Apps,
Bad: Mic, Glossy Backs, In-Ear Headphones, Battery life
Comment: I agree with the issues with the Mic, it has to be close to your face otherwise the person on the other side might complain that you have them on loudspeaker.
The headphones in terms of ergonomics are shockingly poorly designed and will baffle most users and will most will inadvertently damage them due to poor understanding of how to properly operate them like me. Battery life could also be better.
Good: Sleek design and high quality,Stunning camera,Wireless Charger,Screen technology wonderful,Excellent battery performance
Bad: Lack of applications,Heavyweight when some,Battery is removable
Comment: Design 9 from 10
Performance 9 from 10
screen 9 from 10
Battery 8 from 10
sound 8 from 10
camera 8 from 10
Phone system 8 from 10
Good: The Look, Feel, Screen Navigation, Camera, Notes, Simplicity, Speed
Bad: Speaker and Microphone for Phonecall usage
Comment: Really love the phone and happy to be back with NOKIA for there unbreakable reputation, haven't dropped my phone yet BUT unlike iphones the screen is practically scratch resistant using reinforced 'gorilla glass' you can even use your keys as a pen and they wont leave a mark!
The two downsides to the phone that i have found in the week of having it is:
1. When on a call, people cant hear me unless i speak to the bottom of the phone and I cant hear them unless my ear is right to the speaker I feel that the sound is far too low even on full.
2. Your contact list is your whole facebook contacts list, you cant exclude certain people it's all or nothing. Same for any other group you might connect it too, hotmail, Linkedin etc. This is inconvenient when you want to browse for a certain friend but also if there are acquaintances you know you will never need to contact via phone or text you have to keep them there.
But like i said i have only had the phone for a week and might find a resolution for the contacts issue. Other than that it's a really great phone if you like taking photos, browsing the net and keeping updated with your e-mails.
Theres also a really great notes feature where you can add pictures voice notes and text all in the same note. Great for people that want reminders from meetings or lectures etc. or making shopping lists.
Good: The camera.the processor.windows phone 8
Bad: System sometimes freezes and stops working and the system automatically reboots it's a so bad proplem
Comment: nothing to comment
Comment: actually Nokia's display looks perfect but in the lab is not so great: http://t.co/WvR1fSyc - contrast and brightness are worse than on Xperia T (!)
Good: Great camera, OS and screen
Bad: Nothing I can think of right now
Comment: I had a WP7 handset and love the OS. The 920 blows my old phone out of the water. Love the features like 'kids corner' as it keeps my son from messing with my settings. The camera is excellent with great low light photos that my old phone just couldn't produce. I'm really enjoying the ability to resize the tiles and arrange the apps just how I want them.
I love the the solidity and quality of the construction. I wish people would stop going on about the weight. Its only 50g more than other smartphones and has all the main apps that I use. So much is said about the apps market being small but there are so many crap apps in the other markeplaces that are just rubbish IMO. Having tried an android phone I can safely say I'd never purchase another one. The app market is a joke and so many versions that don't get updated for ages rendering them incompatiable with versions of android.
I can't recommend the handset highly enough.
