Good: I love it's design, I love its OS, and I think this is the best phone Nokia has ever made, so far.
Bad: It is sad there is no front camera but I don't usually use one anyway and I wish it had a Micro SD card slot.
Comment: This phone is so different from the others and i love that about it. . If you like different to then this phone is for you. It's new face is beautiful and I simply adore its features and that's all I need. Please Nokia, send the Lumia 800 to India soon. . I am waiting eagerly for it.
Comment: n95 was good but n96-n97 stood still. n900 was a step forward (as far as the os was concerned). The newer symbian 3 phones are very capable devices but lackibg in power and doesn't appeal to the masses (much better than most people think though). The n9 meego phone was a massive step in the right direction but needs nokia's contonuous support for success. this phone is a step backwards. The same beautiful hardware with more power but an OS which will bring them less success than meego would have
Comment: the windows phone operating system looks very sleek and sexy, the software developers obviously spent a lot of time polishing it. despite the phone being rather chunky ( don't know why cnet thought it was thin ) the phone seems good build quality. the camera is very good qulity and there is not many phones that are better and it is packed with a nice powerful proccesor.
in conclusion i would strongly recommend the Nokia lumia 800
Good: Everything except..
Bad: Windows operating system
Comment: The windows operating system shouldn't be around in my opinion, especially not if it was my decision. nokia need to be making a new operating system, every single review i read on a nokia smartphone says that the system is out dated or complicated, that needs to be sorted out nokia because companies are taking over, pull your socks up and come up with something amazing which'll bring you back into the spot light.
(it'd have 4.5/5 if it wasn't windows)
Comment: Yes, I have not yet try and will not bought Mango device (either Nokia). Nokia's strategy is to keep most of user out of N9 (Meego) to get byers for MS-Nokia phones. Maybe I will bought N9 because it is something new and intersting.
I have wonder long time why to bought Nokia MS phones do You have answer why? If Mango is so good why Samsung or LG sell only some of MS phones? Software may be good but not anything amazing.
I don't see the point when Nokia run MS-software inside where is Nokia's profit? I mean how Nokia make their money? Phone selling will bring only some prozent maximum 8 - 9 % profit before taxes ect. Anyway Nokia had make some big mistakes and biggest was to forgot customers and US market.
Comment: "The Lumia 800 has completely dispensed with buttons on the front of the device -- navigating back to the home screen is done by swipes."
Then how come there are the Windows control keys?
Good: Amazing build quality mixed with the most user focused OS
Bad: Needs more storage
Comment: Top Quality phone made of a single piece of ink injected polycarbonate which means no more dirty scratches and best for reception. The curved display is great make the tiles look like their floating :)
