Comment: Dan - The Windows button is a touch-sensitive area on the screen rather than a physical button
Good: Screen is good quality, Carl Zeiss camera lense, WP7.5 is amazing, smooth.
Bad: No front facing camera.
Comment: I'd be interested to see how this phone compares side by side against other WIndows Mobile phones...
From what I am reading there is nothing setting it apart from other phones running this operating system. I was hoping Nokia would be offering something unique to WinMob, maybe like how HTC have the Sense skin over their Android phones...
You turn on this Nokia Lumia 800 and could be running any other device with this OS!
Nokia Drive and music maybe unique to Nokia devices, but you can easily install Sat Nav and Music apps on to other WinMob phones too.
Comment: You say that the phone is expensive, costing £467 SIM-free, which is the highest price I have heard. It can be found for £399 on pay as you go easily. Did you pick the most expensive price just to prove a point?
Good: internal memory of 16GB and 512 Ram make it the phone performance speedy and browser system is typical good and of it's CPU is good about 1.4ghz and camera is cool in what am seeing..........I love Nokia cos it's Best
Bad: NONE.....cant even see anything wrong wit the feature...
Comment: I john Bakare love and want it cos is one of the best smart phone of the season....i will like to have one....NOKIA best producer of Smart Phone...NOKIA is always my best mobile phone since have been buying smart phone.I really need it,and how can i get the smart phone....
Good: Display, Camera
Bad: Design, Processor, No front Camera
Comment: Why does it have a low range processor, and why there is not a front facing camera for this price range? Nokia still should learn from Samsung....
Comment: looks a beauty, I defo think its a step in the right direction for both Nokia and Microsoft.
Yes there is no front facing camera and WP7 os still lacks some of the features that phones like the iphone has but firstly, the iphone's dual core processor is only going to be good for gamers for the next year or so at least, none of the apps in the appstore have been written to take any advantage of dual core processing yet and most of the apps wont simply cos they do not need dual core to run!
I own 2 iphone 4 and facetime is great to have but have I ever used it? Sure, about 1 time in 10 months. So nio big deal... Also the HTC radar wp7 that i own is blazingly faster than both my iphones, how? I have no idea but it tells something about how the software is really optimised...
Love the look of this new Nokia and ill be the first on the WP7/Nokia bandwagon.
Comment: To add to it, for all those who are saying that the Lumia 800 has a less powerful processor then the other Big Dog phones out there, you are right but the thing is that the Windows Phone Mango OS does not require a dual core processor because it was designed that way. So the Lumia 800, even though it has a lesser processor, it works as well as the dual cores out there, maybe even better.
Good: I love it's design, I love its OS, and I think this is the best phone Nokia has ever made, so far.
Bad: It is sad there is no front camera but I don't usually use one anyway and I wish it had a Micro SD card slot.
Comment: This phone is so different from the others and i love that about it. . If you like different to then this phone is for you. It's new face is beautiful and I simply adore its features and that's all I need. Please Nokia, send the Lumia 800 to India soon. . I am waiting eagerly for it.
