Good: keyboard email camera battery life size/weight music
Bad: cluttered and confusing menus and icons, sometimes a bit slow
Comment: This phone on paper is excellent, it has a excellent keyboard, long battery life, a good camera, music, good emailing, it is slim, good looking, well made and easy to carry. However, there are a number of problems. The whole icon and menu layout is ugly and unfriendly. I spent a long time trying to make it (and failing) like my old blackberry 8310. The screen is just too small and low res to browse the web. There are operational issues that with a bit of thought would make the phone smoother. E.G, Constantly asking what network connection I want is a pain, you can set it to one type say the mobile network but then you have to switch back to WI-FI. Surely autoswitching is not that hard to do. Why can't I use the fastest network available at any given moment? I want to put all the most used icons on the home screen it only lets you put six, why? It all just adds extra clicks. Somebody at Nokia should get an old Palm Treo 650 and copy the way that worked.
Whilst I do use this phone as my main phone it is not the easiest experience and I am looking for something slicker. Obviously a Blackberry may be the way to go but there are more expensive to buy and run.

Good: the camera is good, the keypad s easy to use
Bad: everything
Comment: it freezes which results in having to remove the battery, it's slow, switches off, simple boring phone.
I would not recommend this phone.. i have owned it for six months and i am now fed up of returning it to the shop to be fixed.

Good: Lovely keyboard, very very sturdy phone
Bad: The setting that the home buttons are in is kind of scratchy, and feels like a blackboard when you rub your nail against it.
Comment: Genuinely the best phone I've ever had. I loved it to bits, untill it was stolen, and am seriously considering re-buying it, dispite its high price. I've dropped it from massive heights, into puddles, stood on it, sat on it, spilt water on it, and it's not even got a scratch on it. The interface is simple yet effective and the phone and keyboard itself is very comfortable to handle. Highly recommended.

Good: Not a lot. The camera is quite good
Bad: It is slow, the e-mail synch is dreadful - sent mails getting lost for example. The menu structure is poor. It regularly freezes up resulting in needing to take the battery out to restart
Comment: Since the days when mobiles were still about the size of a house brick I always had a Nokia, with one exception, because they were easily the best phones available. Sadly Nokia appear to have stood still while other manufacturers have by passed them. I really wish I had gone for something else

Good: Very little
Bad: Everything
Comment: I have used Blackberry's and iPhones in the past but nothing with a UI that is so unintuitive as the E72. I have found the E72 the most frustrating handset to get to grips with and will do everything I can to get rid of it and return to either the BB or iPhone. If you are seriously thinking about buying this phone go and try the operating system, it is dreadful. Aside from the general operation of the device, the software is flakey at best - it crashes repeatedly and drops calls all the time. We have several of these devices in our organisation and all of them behave in a similar way. Give this Nokia handset a miss.
