Good: Brilliant web browser, great connectivity.
Bad: Nothing springs to mind.
Comment: Very happy with overall performance of this phone.
Some say the font is too small - I don't find it a problem. In an way, there is Psiloc Font Magnifier to solve that.
Cannot praise web browser enough - I can do my work from anywhere now - don't need to be in the office.
I like the joystick - just hope it lasts...
If you need lightning interface speeds, don't go for a Symbian - but you should know that before you buy. I don't mind the odd half-second lagging.
Great sturdy look and feel - solid design.
I don't mind the single alarm clock. I get up at different times every morning, so I need to set it anyway.
Stereo headphones would have been nice, but it's not a train smash.
All in all, a superb little phone that does what I need it to do, and more!

Good: Overall the E50 is pretty good but with one terrible flaw.
Bad: The standard font cannot be increased and is so small as to be almost indecipherable without a magnifying glass.
Comment: The E50 could still be a great phone but only if Nokia can engineer a retro bug-fix to provide a choice of font sizes. As it is, the screen simply cannot be read in a car cradle or in a number of other similar circumstances. Huge shame, really, but the result is that this renders the phone extremely difficult to use on a daily basis.

Good: Design, Nokia interface
Bad: Small fonts, joystick, on/off button
Comment: I put up with this phone for 4 months determined to like it, as fundementally it's a great phone, but I got fed up squinting to read the very small fonts on the superbly clear screen (I wear varifocals but even so...) which cannot be altered unlike most other Nokia phones. The joystick can be disabled but is a pain (literally) and the on/off button almost impossible to access. Additionally the phone is fairly slow. All I want is a small business phone with the usual Nokia reliability and functionality, variable size fonts alone would almost certainly have caused me to rate this as a 7 and made it fun to use.
