Good: everything

Bad: no 3G

Comment: If this phone had 3G, it'd be the perfect handset for those who don't like touch screens but love the original usability of the Nokia. It's plastic-metal casing is brilliant but doesn't feel cheap, but can be cold on the hand.

The nokia's battery life isn't bad at all, but its not as good as the bottom range nokia's. It does last a while, however it does need consistent charging, only along with extensive use.

The keypad is excellent, very soft and very tough. Just like the E5.

The screen, is sharp but could be a bit better in terms of seeing it in direct sunlight.

Rating:
Keypad and screen - 9/10
Usability - 8
Durability - 9.5
Connectivity - 8
Overall - 8.

Good: Quailty-made, messaging, ease-of-use

Bad: Camera, battery life (after a few years)

Comment: Had this phone in the family for getting on 4 years, it's still going strong. What an amazing phone! Thought of upgrading but weighed it up and its not worth it!

I own it

Good: Keypad, Internet connectivity, calender

Bad: camera is ok, BAD battery life, alarm is rubbish

Comment: quite a good phone, my Sony C902 blew up and the Nokia 6300 has been my backup, the camera is reasonable but unfortuantly does not have a flash or very good 'night vision' settings.
Must say the internet connectivity is quick.
but the battery life is appauling and the battery life bar sometimes stays at 100% when it is nearing empty.

Good: Still going after three years

Bad: Rocker switch is fiddly

Comment: Feels like I've had this forever. I don't have a case for it -- it just goes in my pocket or bag -- so the screen has quite a few small scratches now, but otherwise it's still in good condition. Does all the basics well, which is all I need.

Good: Ease of use. the alarm, the calendar were used a lot. Loads of fields for contact information

Bad: It fell apart in 11months

Comment: The phone worked beautifully until the 11th month. OK, I dropped it a few times but I dropped phones in the past that didnt stop working. I have about 5 other phones in storage that were battered but functioning (one of which I've just started reusing).
What went wrong was quite sudden. The phone started to displayed stripey lines on the screen. When you turn it off then on again, the same stripey behaviour.

So although it started off well, it really did fall apart.

Good: Looks good...doesnt deliver

Bad: Reception is awful...eats inadequate batteries

Comment: If their is a God in heaven will he make a new 6310 please ?

I have used this phone for one month; 29 days too long.

I use two batteries every day.

Every other conversation drops at least three times; my call recipients ask me what phone I am using so they can avoid buying this model. I am now greeted with ' have you changed your phone yet ?'

The other reviews leave me totally puzzled.

This phone is Nokia's answer to Microsoft's VISTA......it is the embodiment of the service levels of ' One to One ' before the T Mobile days.

Preserve your sanity...avoid.

Good: Nokia at its best

Bad: Nothing of consequence

Comment: This phone is classic Nokia -- simple good looks, well considered functionality. It doesn't do much of anything and yet it does everything I need. I particularly like the effortless syncing with Outlook via Bluetooth, so my appointments are automatically in the Calendar.

Good: A phone that remembers the plot

Bad: nothing

Comment: At Last a phone that has remembered what it was designed for,
to be a phone.
if you want a computer, then buy one. Expect fantastic 10 x 8 pictures then buy a real camera.
Sturdy design is ideal business phone, good blue tooth conection with different in car kits ( even connects to sony incar kit that my sony had problems with)
designed to last for years of use.

Good: Simple solid feel

Bad: No 3G

Comment: This is a great, simple, solidly built and yet elegant phone. With all the overloaded glamourised phones on the market, you sometimes want a phone that just gives you the basic facilities without the complixity. It doesn't have 3G ability, but if you don't really use satnav, video calling or other 3G functionality, why do you need the facility on the phone?
Overall its a phone that will not disappoint.
