Good: Big screen, good camera
Bad: So very unreliable, 3 phones in 3 months - all with different problems
Comment: I was so impressed with my last Nokia and that's maybe why I feel so let down this time. I've had nothing but trouble. Problems include a fading screen, failure to connect calls, failure to send messages, camera stops working, people cannot hear you but you can hear them, menus are slow and the battery life is very short. Not what I expected. AVOID.

Good: Good camera when it works and it's nice looking!
Bad: the fact i have had three - all of which have been faulty!
Comment: Do not buy this phone. Go for phones like the Samsung d900/ z400 or the Sony Ericsson range.

Good: Slider funtion is good and it has a nice big clear screen
Bad: Battery life, memory
Comment: I bought this phone for my son. It's a lovely phone and he seems to like it. One complaint is texting won't sent texts longer than 160 letters for some reason. And then it will send the text more than once - neither Nokia or my service provider have an answer to this. Apart from that it's a good phone.

Good: Camera quality excellent, screen superb, looks good, nice features, easy to use
Bad: Poor memory supplied, dust gets inside screen, battery life poor
Comment: I got this phone a couple of weeks ago by mistake (I ordered a Sony Ericsson W810i, but they sent this instead, and I was too impatient to send it back and wait a week for the w810i).
After 2 weeks, I'm still very happy with the phone. The screen is excellent, and most of the photo's I've taken so far are very good, though its not great in lower light even with the flash.
Its said to be bulky, but I think it feels fine. The sliding mechanism is good, though I've disabled the "up" shortcut of the navigation button as I pressed it and turned on the camera everytime I tried to slide it open.
I've bought a 1gb mini sd card for the phone which is essential as the supplied 6mb internal and 64mb card are not enough.
The battery life is disappointing, I'm charging it every night (though I usually do this automatically anyway so its not a big problem for me, though if you're on the road a lot and forget your charger it could be a problem). Speaking of chargers, its a shame they had to use a different plug than for most other nokia's, I've got loads of chargers at home from previous Nokia's, but they don't fit this one, meaning I can't leave one at work, one at home, and one in every other place I go to.
The other downside is that dust seems to get inside the case very easily. In fact, a couple of days after getting the phone I'd already got spots all around the screen. It is possible to take off the facia, but its not easy to get back on, and by the time you have there is more dust inside the screen than before.
Overall though, I am impressed with the phone, and am not bored of it yet (my Motorola Razr had be bored within a couple of days, as have most of the phones I've had so far).

Good: Easy to use features
Bad: Slides up too easily in my pocket
Comment: I'm happy with it

Good: Seems rugged with nice slide action
Bad: Can't put in own voice tags. Phone offers every entry in your phone books that might sound like the name you said. After 12 tries with a simple name, it still was offering 8 to choose from. Useless if you are driving.
Comment: Tries to be too clever.Sorry Nokia but your new voice control is useless.

Good: Screen size and clarity, camera quality (backed up by screen), user friendlyness
Bad: POOR software, awful memory
Comment: When I purchased this phone I was torn between this and the Motorola V3x, but based on previous problems with Motorola phones decided on the Nokia.
The phone arrived at 10am, and I spent a few hours playing with it and getting used to how it worked. By 5.30pm the same day the phone was dead, it had turned itself off and would not turn back on - all it would do is flash Nokia and then fade to black and turn off.
I took the memory card out, and it just repeated the process in a loop then went dead completely.
I am awaiting a new handset, to try again - but on searching on the internet I have found this is a very common fault. I hope my new handset doesn't suffer.
Overall, this phone has the potential to be great but is let down by an unstable operating system.
