Good: The sexy look, very sleek and looks expensive, very luxurious
Bad: The antiquated VGA camera, the cramped d-pad and layout of keys
Comment: A good phone for those who loved the V3i but hate flip phones. I used to have one but palmed it off on my brother and instead purchased a V3i. The main reason for this was the speed of the thing. There is always a lag between pressing a button and the action being carried out. This problem is especially evident on the included MP3 player, where the lag became almost a second. Another reson for dumping this phone is the d-pad. I have big fingers and I had to grow my fingernails so I could use them to use the d-pad, that's how awkward it is! Also, the layout of the keys is hard to get used to. The middle row of keys, the 2,5, 8 and 0 are a bit below the other keys and this is hard to adjust to. Also, the VGA camera is really stupid. Why would you spend all this money on making a phone, putting on an SD card slot and other cutting-edge features and then put a VGA camera in there? Motorola is hyping this phone up as ultra slim but it is not actually much slimmer than other phones on the market and looks like a brick next to the Samsung X820. Motorola can't say that the reason for the VGA camera is to allow for the slimmness of the phone because the Samsung X820 is much slimmer than the Slvr and still managed a 2-megapixel camera with auto-focus.

Good: Looks good
Bad: The camera is terrible, the even-worse keypad makes texting difficult. It randomly switches off at odd times.
Comment: This phone is all looks and style and no substance. I have had it for less than a year and it is already dying randomly on me.
Worst phone I have ever had and I won't be buying Motorolas anymore.

Good: The graphics, which are amazing
Bad: I am used to Nokias so the menu navigation takes a while to get used to
Comment: I have had this phone just over 24 hours and my first opinions are that it's a geat phone. It is slim yet lightweight (but this makes it feel strong) the keypad is a little too small you need to use the top of your fingers to press the buttons but this is okay for me. A downside is that you probably want some earphones but Motorola are selling Bluetooth earphones on their website. If you are looking to buy this phone go for it because it is worth it. I have had no problems

Good: The music player is great, so is picture capture
Bad: The video capture wasn't so great, maybe it's too small
Comment: This phone is a great deal. Almost everything is great about the phone, the only thing is it might be to small for some people, I guess that's why I lost my Motorola SLVR.

Good: Incredibly slim and light; quite cheap; expensive feel and good build; great keypad that makes texting a joy; reasonable interface; good screen
Bad: Interface takes some getting used to for non-Motorola users; no included headphones or adapter for MP3 player and no 3.5mm socket; camera could be better
Comment: This is a great little phone that I have had for about three months now. I enjoy useing it, as the design and build are - in my opinion - the best on the market possibly apart from LG's new chocolate phone. This phone's slim 11mm waist means it will slip into any bag or pocket, however tight.
While the interface may not be quite up there with that of Sony Ericsson's or Nokia's, once it has been used for a week it becomes just as intuitive. Call quality is generally excellent, and the built in speaker is very loud and clear for all but the most hectic of situations.
Music also sounds great through the speaker, but as I already own an iPod and a solid state Sony Walkman, I have yet to buy a set of headphones or an adapter for my own. I think not supplying any, or giving the phone a standard stereo music jack output, was a major oversight by Motorola and this somewhat detracts from the phone's multimedia capabilties.
The camera is of good quality, but as the resolution is only VGA (0.3 megapixel), not really for printing - don't sell your Cybershot yet. Video is also reasonable, but not outstanding.
So overall this phone should appeal to anyone who values style, build, usability, and, in fact, value above outright features

Good: Slim clean design
Bad: Not a lot of features
Comment: I have xda2s which kills any phone I've had but it's bulky and heavy. Moto L7 is slim and stylish, email not easy to set up as the xda2's but will probe deeper to find out. Easy to use not a lot of things to get confused with like other moto's, very easy to use... But the main feature is style and how slim it is and easy to store away memory card been told it will take a 1GB so your music is endless. It's small like iPod so you could say Moto has mobile iPod on the go, anywhere you want to go and battery life excellent. Altogether a very good design

Good: Compact.
Bad: Poorly made.
Comment: My phone was dropped once - onto our kitchen floor from the chair at my kitchen table by my daughter. It was less than 1 month old and the display is gone. Motorola says too bad, you shouldn't have dropped it. I say, I have had cell phones that have dropped onto concrete and never once a problem. This is clearly poor manufacturing - make it cheap and sell it high.
