Good: Thinness, design, screen, memory card slot

Bad: Position of memory card under the battery cover, the way the keypad leaves prints on the screen, laborious transfer speeds, slow MP3 player start up, below average battery life.

Comment: A good phone overall, but not as good as some other thin phones out there, such as the Samsung Ultra series. A worthy update to the V3 with an improved screen, a memory card slot and even more sexy look. Despite this, there are dozens of much better phones out there for the same price.

Good: The stylish look

Bad: The quality of the photos, the lack of memory, the poor battery life, the numerous faults that I have had to send it back due to

Comment: I bought this phone because of the way it looked - yes I am materialistic. However, now I have had the phone for 10 months I would have to say that looks aren’t everything. I have had numerous faults with this phone but luckily have insurance. The battery life is shocking and the picture quality is terrible. This phone has totally put me off Motorola!

Good: Great design; very usable; fits in my pocket

Bad: Vodafone removed the iTunes, iSync and SCREEN3 capabilities

Comment: A well designed phone that is now a classic icon - that Motorola continues to improve. It is a real shame that networks dictate what features are made available - this phone could be better. I really miss the iSync feature.

Good: Flash card and quality

Bad: Not enough pixels and colour choice

Comment: Great phone, but I think that if Motorola and Phillips combine their phone and engineering products together they will come up with an even better phone, far superior to any phone on the market

Good: The look; the fabulous keyboard; easy menus

Bad: Using the flip; the camera

Comment: The V3 is sylish and looks great, especially at night. The problem is it is so wide. Try to flip the phone with one hand and you stand a 50% chance of dropping it. If you do get it open, it's taken so long you've missed the call, so you end up ringing everyone back. The screen is invisible in bright sunlight, the camera is poor and there is no video capture.

Good: Lightweight

Bad: Keypad

Comment: It's overall an ok phone. Would like to be able to print photos from microSD card but as yet the printer is unable to read card. Music player very good.

Good: I had owned the Motorola A835 before compared to which V3i is slim and beautiful. It's really comfortable to talk compared to the other flip models.

Bad: Cannot play music with the flap closed, battery life max 2-3 days, camera clarity could be improved

Comment: Can for this phone if the style and weight matters...
