Good: Camera, Screen Design
Bad: Speed, Response, Phone Directory
Comment: I got this phone about five months ago. It has good camera. It is bit sluggish. Sometimes its response time is very slow. The main problem I have with this phone is that sometimes when I save a contact and try to retrieve it it does not appear. On the other if I try to send sms the contact is there.... strange behavior.....
Good: Camera, Design, Screen Quality
Bad: Sluggish Processor, Annoying bloatware, Battery life, Number of Apps
Comment: I agree with the cnet review. I live in Korea and bought the phone a few months after release. The problems mentioned, though, can easily be fixed. Bloatware was taken care of by going to a Motorola service center and getting them to reinstall a "clean" version of the OS without the phone company's useless products on it. The sluggish processor has been fixed by having it rooted and overclocking (works excellently). Battery life has been dealt with through the use of an extra battery and keeping an adapter on me at all times. As for apps, more and more are releasing and I think we can anticipate the Android Market catching up with the Apple App Store at least in the "quality" apps department. Many of those bestselling apps have been making their cross over, albeit a bit slowly. With these considerations, it is truly a top notch phone and definitely workable until the next gen of Super-duper phones begin releasing next year.
Good: not for me
Comment: I hate it so much
Good: Great touchscreen, 8 MP camera, 720p video recording, HMDI out with cable, large screen
Bad: Screen finger print friendly very much
Comment: Using for last one week and no doubt it is great device as for build it is very strong and you feel something nice in your hands and a bit to sacrifice for processor speed but as far as price it is great as compare to other plastic devises and it’s not bad in speed and in use after upgrade from 550MHz to 720MHz guys it’s great fun and price is good
Good: Android 2.1, multitouch screen, thin case, responsive in spite 550 MHz processor, reasonable battery
Bad: low internal space, not a very good camera, too easy to press command buttons
Comment: Impressive phone loaded with functions. Think twice though if camera is an important objective. But impossible to find a GSM phone with top end camera, Android 2.1, Xenon flash and a perfect video player. If you know of one, let me know, but don't say Galaxy S9000 or HTC Desire. I want a camera that performs at least as some Nokia top 5MP shooters (like some of the Classic models) or SE Vivaz. None of the above can match that. Feel free to check my XT720 test shots at fotki.com slash likarm
So for now XT720 is the closest to what I need but will replace for a better Android camera GSM phone when available.
Good: android 2.1 system, big screen, 8.0 mega pixel
Bad: silver colour
Comment: overall it is good smartphone
