If there's one mobile phone feature that doesn't get enough limelight, it's FM radio. The advent of digital music players turned many people from avid radio listeners to MP3 junkies in a matter of years.
But just because certain people turned their backs on FM radio doesn't mean all of you have and some of you still like to listen to ye olde radio waves -- even if it's not as trendy as it once was.
That said, phones with built-in FM radio can range from fancy high-end super phones to budget battlers. If you like a little of everything or you just want to make phone calls and listen to the radio, then you have some options.
Be warned that most phones' FM radio requires you to plug in headphones in order for it to work. Some phones allow you to plug in your own headphones while others force you to use the proprietary ones, which can be very annoying if they're not any good.
Another thing to keep in mind is that FM radios in phones don't always pick up a radio signal as well as standalone radios with big aerials. Still, if you just fancy listening to Terry Wogan on Radio 2 while you walk the dog, then it should be fine.
We've put together a list of four phones that all have FM radios but come with a range of different features and price ranges. Click through to the full reviews to see which one suits you best or visit the mobile phone homepage for more phones.

We don't like how the N82 looks and we're not keen on its keypad, but it's such a good phone in terms of features that we're prepared to overlook its aesthetic shortcomings. This is how the N95 should've been -- from the camera to the GPS, everything works as you expect it to. Fingers crossed Nokia manages to squash all of this into a smaller, more attractive handset next time round Read more
