Good: The mirror's the best part of the entire product. Which isn't good if it's a phone.
Bad: Awful design, awful functionality, can't be used as a phone outdoors quite often, LG isn't standing behind it. LG C Service guy recommended I bin it.
Comment: Horrible design - although it looks nice, the looks certainly get in the way of its functionality, which is actually a terrible way to design things! It interferes rendering the phone useless. Plus the internal design mapping is nonsensical and inflexible.
I regret purchasing this phone. My screen craked (or had a 'bleeding lcd crystal') without any pressure or knock to the phone. In under a year it had 2 batteries. If there is sunshine outdoors - don't even try to use your phone. Because you can't. You honestly CAN'T SEE THE SCREEN! All you see is the mirror!
I've complained to the company directly and to the retailer and they have been nothing but rude and uncaring (and denying there is anything wrong with it, when all they have to do is take it outside if there's any sun). Rubbish phone, rubbish company. This was my 2nd - and final - chance with an LG product and I was upset with both items. STAY AWAY FROM LG OR YOU'LL REGRET WASTING YOUR MONEY!
LG Customer Service guy recommended I bin it. I am dead serious.

Good: The whole phone
Bad: Java turn off.
Comment: Actually I have a LG TU720 SHINE which is way better... quad band, 5 way joystick... I have no clue why they made two phones?!
All in all the Shine is really slick and has all the nneded features.
Go for it!

Comment: Man this site is slow!! Anyhow, loved this phone from when I got it, to when I traded it in for a Sony Ericsson W950i.
Unfourtunatly this pic provided does the phone no justice, as mine were brushed silver colour. This phone does everything on the box really, but there were things which suprised me - The phone felt cold everytime I held it due to the metal (Which I happen to like), it had good weight to it, it were sleek, amd the interface looked fantastic!!
If you are into music playback on your phone, like myself, you'll love this hardware - Same for design.
Box includes: Handset, Stylish Headphones, Suede Pouch, USB Cable, Drivers/Software Disc, Instructions Booklet etc...
Very affordable, a must buy!!

Good: The design of the LG is perfect, too hot to handle
Bad: There isnt an FM radio, the camera is average 2mp
Comment: Before I suggest you buy the LG Shine you should be aware that because the phone is so NEW there isnt a case for it yet. Other than that the phone is great, the scrolling is easy, the camera takes average pictures and mp3 player sounds great with the headphones provided.
The LG is so flash I found myself too afraid to use my phone in public just in case I got mugged. Thats how hot the phone is.

Bad: Fragile screen
Comment: Review says... Unlike many phones that feel like toys made from cheap plastic, the Shine feels strong and well built... At only 14mm thick, it slips easily into a pocket.
NEVER EVER put it in your pocket. I had mine for 3 weeks and without any knocks, bangs or stress, the screen cracked. The casing may be strong, but the large screen must be very vulnerable and fragile. My next phone will be a slider or clam :(
