Good: Unique design: physical keys mean less accidental "go homes", soft touch finish on back, metal under battery cover, Features: 3.2 inch touch screen is bright and colourful, speakers were at the least, audible, camera takes good pics for the price, Android 2.3 update brings more colour to the lack and white scheme used in 2.2's settings app etc.
Bad: Sluggish processor, no Flash, no HD vidoe recording, wish battery life was a bit longer, no Camera Flash, not upgradeale to 4.0 or 4.1, very little internal memory
Comment: Overall, good budget smartphone for the price, just beware if you want to play games, this phone has a sluggish processor and little internal memory.
Good: runs android, cheap,
Comment: i want to buy this phone and i relly like
Good: most things are good on it the price, screen good, GPS sat nav good
Bad: dust issue collecting under the screen, to slow for 3d gaming, very poor camera lag and focusing, LG Software does not work
Comment: Had my LG Optimus One P500 for about a month and overall was very happy with it and feel it is good value for money.
However as users pointed out that it collects dust under the screen I decided to look at my phone when turned off and indeed I can see small amounts of dust has got under the screen. I think it clearly gets in at the edges of middle home button as this button is flush with the screen and poorly positioned.
I can also note like previous reviews that it will sometimes unmount the SDCard, I have also experienced odd small glitches but I was putting down to the android os.
Oh, you may have noticed that I was talking in past tense thats because I decided to use the LG update software to update the phone and halfway through it stopped responding with phone and wiped it! I was forced to sent it for repair and at present I've been told that it needs a replacement module? not sure if that means a new phone, but either way it does not fill me with confidence that this phone will last long.
To sum up, if I get my phone back and it works ok then I am happy with my purchase, and can even live with the small dust issue (only really visible at moment if you really look hard).
If it lasts a year then for what I paid and with the built in GPS Sat Navigation which i find very useful and is actually quite good! then its still an good phone, if it did not have any of these problems than I don't think I could really say anything bad about it.
Bad: SD card unmounts by itself and phone restarts.
Comment: Although it has a good price/quality ratio, after some time the phone auto-restarts giving errors about the SD card. It happened to me and all my friends with the same mobile phone. It's annoying! Sometimes it restarts as much as 2x a day!
Good: Best H/W and S/W for that price
Bad: Nothing really
Comment: The best possible mobile that you could get at that price \m/
Good: It is like you get a Samsung Galaxy for less than half the price.
Bad: No Flash Plugin
Comment: Think first, and don't go with the flow. LG Optimus One is a perfect android phone. You don't need to spend much of cash on expensive mobiles, while you can get the same functionalities with cheaper price. But if you are a heavy gamer, don't buy it. Pay more for a 1 GB processor.
Bad: its pc suite is not working
Comment: its pc suite doesnt work.. and its just a crappy phone when not connected to internet.
Good: all is good..!
Bad: video players
Comment: to support for flash videos and problem in playing high resolution videos
Good: easy to work
Bad: cant connect it to my toshiba laptop
Comment: rely good phone you should get it i got it and worked everything out in 2mins
