Good: great looks, responsive, intergated swiftkey, facebook and spotify welcome
Bad: no bbc iplayer like samsung ace and htc wildfire
Comment: I dont know why people are complaining about the freezing, there is a new update out and its an extremely stable device. It looks the business as well, much nicer than any other phone out there in my opinion. The photos dont really go justice to how modern and clean the design is, the stock UI is inspired by graffiti and modded to suit the phone, giving overall a really pleasant experience. For price comparison the Galaxy Ace and ZTE blade are noteable (but with very boring looks) and the wildfire s (but has the same low res screen) the phones are in terms of hardware almost the same, but with this you get a whole new integrated experience of facebook and twitter which is actually extremely useful on a day to day basis, the keyboard also literally kicks the sh*t out of its competition, which sets it apart. This phone is alot rarer than its competition at the price point, UK designed and very cool, so cool in fact that people ask you about it. I recommend it highly, and would tell anyone to consider it.
Bad: everything else
Comment: This phone sucks, the screen reselution is very poor, the mic for the camera is very poor, my headphone jack for the left ear has broken, the back case is very crackley, very slow and lags, widgets need improvement, and but not least has very little memory.
Good: its a nice colour
Comment: This phone is crap the sd card dosent read i the phone the the phone cracks easily
Bad: it freezes, doesnt read my memory card, music player is poor, speaker cuts out, screen freezes, constantly restarts itself, very temperamental when making calls, battery
Comment: iv had 4-5 of these handsets from the carephone warehouse all with the same problems i wouldn't advise anyone to get it, run away from it, the ammount of trouble this phone has given me is mad, the standby phone i got was better.
Good: It's available in red, Android 2.2, 5 MP camera, good value for money
Bad: Looks cheap, battery life, the facebook integration looks better than it is
Comment: I impulse-bought this phone while in the UK this weekend, as it was dirt cheap on a deal at The Carphone Warehouse. Cheap is also what it looks like- though I will say that it obviously takes its design cues from the iPhone 3G which- compared to the original iPhone and iPhone 4 also looks quite cheap. It's what plastic does.
For the price point I'm quite impressed with what INQ has put into this phone and what a refreshing foresight to see the original Facebook, twitter and shazam apps pre-installed and not some clunky attempt (I'm looking at you, Samsung, to come up with a 'social app' of their own). The facebook widgets that are this phone's apparent strong selling points are a little silly and I ended up replacing the Newsfeed widget with the original one from the facebook for Android app.
I was pleasantly surprised with the included headphones. With everything about this phone, keep in mind how cheap it is: The pictures from the camera won't win any awards, but they are decent enough for what INQ assumes will be your main purpose- sharing them on facebook.
One of my favorite customizations is the info key, which brings up a screen that lets you toggle things like Wifi, Airplane mode, GPS and also keeps you updated on the (admittedly poor) battery life.
Know what you're getting with this: It's not a Samsung Galaxy S II, but it does what it says on the box and does so at an amazingly cheap price point. And it's red.
Good: Great price for an android phone, great custom user interface.
Bad: Cheap plastic case, not great battery life & occasional lag.
Comment: Great phone but it's to bad INQ didn't put in a 1ghz prossesor to make it faster, a MUCH stronger back and a longer battery life.
Good: most things
Bad: screen repeatedly freezes
Comment: i got this phone mid May and for the first day everything was fine. the second day the screen would not reactivate from standby mode. after doing several "soft" resets (taking the battery out) and several "hard" resets (restoring factory defaults) i took the handset back to carphone warehouse to be replaced.
thinking i may have done something to cause the fault i took it easy with this one for the first few days. didnt download any apps, didnt alter any walpaper or settings, just used it as a phone. after two and a half days the screen froze on this one aswell. so after several resets back to the carphone wareouse.
Unfortunately this seems to be a VERY common fault as i am now on my 5th handset and after 1 day the screen has frozen AGAIN. this is a shame because when working correctly the handset is nice and easy to use, has good GPS and is pretty steady in running the majority of applications. The system control widget is particularly nice. unfortunately this is all let down by the fact that so far 5 handsets have lasted less than 3 days before requiring daily resets.
Bad: a bit of lag and quite bad battery life
Comment: none of what everyone else said has happened to me so far and i've had it for about 2 weeks now so its been good so far. everyhting's good except for a little lag, but it was telling me to update it, then when i did it started running smoothly again. also it has a pretty bad battery life (but only when 3g is on). apart from that its a really good phone and is perfect for me, it looks really good, and as for the back cover, it's a bit tricky but once you get used to it it's fine. i would definately recommend this phone to anyone. hope this helped :D
