Good: It works well, fast enough, clear screen
Bad: A bit laggy, of course not as good as expensive androids phones
Comment: Bought this last Christmas for my husband as his first smart phone. He's not good with technology, but needed big buttons for texting, big screen & an OK camera & CHEAP as we weren't sure if he could cope with a smart phone.
My sons all have the latest Samsungs, whereas I have their old Galaxy S (the original). the Huawei Y300 performance is not too far away from my old Galaxy S (which still sells £200 second hand). If I needed a basic smart phone & couldn't afford much, I have no hesitation in recommending the Y300 - it's not bad!
Good: Cheap; functional; replaceable battery.
Bad: Nothing, for the price.
Comment: My wife's first smart phone. It was very cheap and works well. Fast enough for everyday stuff. Can't fault it for the price really. Cheap enough to use as a backup.
Good: It's cheap
Bad: Haptic Feedback and calendar notifications reminder
Comment: You cannot turn off the haptic feedback. According to Hwauch (sorry, I didn't throw up there, I was just trying to pronounce the phone company name), or however you pronounce it, a new update will be coming out soon for this and the update will be tested before it gets released (presumably like the last one, sic). Also, I get a calendar reminder at midnight, a cat miaowing, to wake up my wife (who isn't happy about this). The miaowing noise doesn't stop until you open the notifications bar. Apparently I've run out of space to moan!!
Good: Cheap! Nice screen!
Bad: Prefer stock Android
Comment: Everything as said in this review - an absolute steal when you compare an equivalent specc'd Samsung phone such as an Ace 2 or Galaxy S Advance.
Mine even came with an even bigger batter (1950mAh) so even more juice!!
Good: screen size 4'', nice colors, thanks to IPS, decent performance, super cheap price
Bad: screen isn't enough bright under sunlight
Comment: it's a first time i've made a decision to buy a chiness brand, i hope it will be good companion or else i will hate this brand.
Comment: jopov123 is mad
Good: looks like it's packed with features that only more expensive phones usually have.
Bad: don't know yet, as i don't yet own one.
Comment: this looks like a good phone, and i'd like one. you say in your review that it the screen will be susceptible to scratches, as it isn't gorilla glass- but huawei's own specs say that it IS gorilla glass.
Good: Price, display, reasonably fast processor
Bad: Camera (night especially), sound,
Comment: The camera is bad, especially at night shooting, it has a led flash but photos are extremely blurry.
Comment: Prettty Capacious is that battery, get you lol
Good: Shocking value for money and a good suprise
Bad: Everything on my one is Google territory. Sign in, sign up, details..etc.
Comment: Hadn't upgraded my private mobile for over 2 years out of contract. Was sick of Vodafone after 17 years of getting ripped off but wanted to keep my old number. Saw a deal on Carphone wharehouse site for the new Nokia Lumiere on TalkTalk, Ordered it, but saw a deal for for 250 mins for £7.80 with this phone free. II put £20 a month on my pensioner Mums PAYG T-mobile and she rarely even uses it.
I honestly only ordered it for the Sim and contract, cos I bought my Mum a 'Big Number' pensioners phone last year.
In truth, apart from Google infestation, I prefer this phone to my iPhone and the Nokia Lumirere. I had intended to give the Y300 away a member of staff but ended up giving them the Nokia that is infested with Microsoft.
Why do we have to open an Apple, Google or Microsoft account with our personal details just to transfer a tune we own on C.D ?
Who owns the phone ? The paying customer ? or the insiduous no9f5
