Good: ok as a gadget
Bad: terrible as doing the "phone" bit
Comment: I've had this nearly 2 months & I've finally called it a day - if you want a device to listen to music, do facebook updates, send an e-mail or mobile internet then it's worth a look.
The problems I've had, unstable widgets, system crashes, system hanging, the UI locking up & not allowing me to answer incoming calls - this bugs me the most, as I've missed so many calls due to the screen telling me to drag down or up, presenting me with accept/reject but none work! sms messages seem to go to random people due to the over sensitive nature of the touch screen. If you can sit perfectly still & concentrate 100% on it then it can work, if you're walking, on a train or similar its very hit and miss.
I've reset it to factory defaults a number of times, removed 3rd party apps and widgets, tweaked the settings, tried other apps to solve problems but its no better. HTC customer support aren't any better, I needed the tethering software as mine was missing, no help at all, they said look out for it on the website - thanks a bunch! I was a satisfaction survey & they hassled me when I gave them a poor score.
The other really poor implementation is the contact manager, it imports your contacts from everywhere but does a really poor job of labeling them in a usable fashion - try to call someone quickly who has 6 contacts options & are not part of your favourites, I spent ages having to retag them and limiting the display sources.
i thought it was me at first but other people have said the same things, people who work in the technology industry & use mobile devices in the same manner, I'm not sure how much of this is HTC's implementation of Android or it being aimed at a very specific part of the market - ie the Facebook/twitter generation who don't actually talk to each other.
I wouldn't contemplate it as a business phone choice as battery life and usability are well below that standard.
I've not listed it on ebay yet as I might have another go with it once my blood stops boiling!

Good: The build quality, smooth scrolling, user friendly, superb touch screen
Bad: Resolution - compared to the price of a desire or legend no complaint really
Comment: The HTC Wildfire is an amazing phone, build quality is superb, its not just a phone its smart phone and all the features work. Ok the screen res is not the best but good enough compared to a desire or legend but look at the price difference! The Wildfire is a great size phone, smooth scrolling, responsive and very well built, I am with t-mobile and I receive excellent signal reaching above 3g to H and also pick up my wireless router great, I fully recommend this phone! yeah its got a few issues but overall would recommend this user friendly smart mobile.

Good: Value, general features.
Bad: not much but the battery life could be better
Comment: As my first android phone i found it incredibly easy to use. the lack of a keyboard i thought would be an issue, but in landscape view it was surprisingly easy.
The number of homescreens is good also as i can access facebook my messages and emails very easily.
The only downside is the battery life but i can just about get 2 days out of it
