Good: Web android and camera
Bad: Speaker call quality and battery.
Comment: Unusable as a business phone as the battery only lasts half a day of heavy calling.
The call quality is poor.
The speakers are both poor especially the rear speaker which makes hands free conference calling appalling.
Avoid if you want to make calls.
Web etc is excellent but then it is on all android phones.

Good: Nice design, The scroll button is really cool, tough, fantastic OS and really fast.
Bad: Camera.
Comment: This was the best Phone I had ever owned, and would still be the best if I hadn't gone and got the DHD. If the DHD is too big for you, then this is the next best thing.

Good: pretty much everything
Bad: the battery life
Comment: after some extensive setting tweaks and tests, i have found that switching the wifi to only stay on when plugged in, seems to increase battery life by a further 4-5 hours. was getting only 7 hours per day, now achieving about 12 hours with full use.

Good: Everything
Bad: Battery Life
Comment: Love this phone haven't had a single problem with It, had It since September 2010 but recently I've ad a problem where sometimes when I try to write a text nothing happens when I press the butons and also when I try to make a phone a tap the persons name nothing happens. T-Mobile have classed it as a faulty handset and have now sent It off for repair and just waiting for It to come back.

Good: Screen, hardware buttons, speed
Bad: 3D processing power, sometimes sluggish, camera and flash, battery doesn't last a full day
Comment: Great phone overall but could do with looking a bit less geeky. Since it is a jack-of-all trades the play off is that no one function is 100% amazing, but everyone works realy well. The camera is rubbish as with all HTC devices and the flash is pointless as it just washes everything out.
Still a phone to recommend though as it is great for every day use.

Good: like internet in your pocket. general use great so far - 1 month
Bad: Bought for work - Has no Proxy settings options.
Comment: Has no Proxy settings options. lets see what that means...
no internet at work - (browser can be set but who cares) no weather, gmail, facebook, stocks, calendar sync offsite, no android market...
DO NOT BUY FOR CORPORATE UNTIL PROXY SETTINGS AVAILABLE

Good: Smooth touch screen Good internet search and connection
Bad: Calendar with alarm is not working Battery Life is short
Comment: I bought HTC Desire based on good reviews. unfortunately what I need the most is not working and to me this is a very very big shame for both HTC and Android. The Problem is this: If you want an event to be remided to you at a certain date and time with an alarm, Alarm does not come on and hence you miss the time and the event. Yes as simple as this operation just do not exist at this highly graded telephone. From customer support I learned that this is a common problem and is being worked on now.

Good: HTC Sense, 720p video (only with Android 2.2 update), FriendStream, 1GHz, 3.7" touchscreen
Bad: Battery when used a lot
Comment: This phone is by far the best I've ever owned. HTC Sense makes it stand out from other phones from other manufacturers. The fact that an Android 2.2 update flashed up made me happier. The only bad thing is the battery when it is used a lot.
